Unlock Powerful B-Roll Features with OneTake 7.17!

  • Hi, everybody, and welcome to the Real Time with OneTake.
  • I am Sébastien Night, CEO of OneTake.
  • And today, we are going to talk about all the cool new things you are able to do in OneTake starting with this new version, OneTake 7.17, which will be available in your accounts starting early next week.
  • So, starting on Monday, the 16th of March.
  • Hi, John.
  • Pleasure to see you.
  • Hi, Lorenzo.
  • Hi, Trevor.
  • Hi, Dian, Andrea.
  • Welcome to the live session.
  • Previous Features Recap

  • A quick reminder of what I showed off last time.
  • We had a bunch of new really cool things in OneTake that we show every time we do a new version.
  • And last time, we had many small UX improvements.
  • Today, we have a major additional feature I'm gonna explain in a minute.
  • Last time, I showed that you can copy the embed code directly from the project list page.
  • So, we're just making it easier when you log into OneTake to grab the things that you need to work and move forward.
  • So if you have a recent project that you just want to share with someone, you can just copy the link by clicking the link here.
  • If you're looking at the project list and you need to grab the links to copy it, you can copy the link or copy the embed codes to put it in your website here.
  • So, we're just making a lot of the flow faster.
  • Mobile Enhancements

  • Similarly, we noticed that many people were using OneTake on mobile.
  • Because that's where you record the videos most of the time.
  • And so what happens is when you log in, OneTake sends you a magic email with a code and a link in there.
  • So, we made that email compatible so that most phones will now automatically fill out the magic code when you log in from your phone without you having to go to your emails, copy it, or click the link.
  • So it's much faster.
  • Speaking on mobile, editing with OneTake on small screens was difficult because the chat input box was hidden.
  • And now, this has been fixed so that it's easier to just chat with OneTake and say what fixes you want to make.
  • And last time, we had a few bug fixes.
  • Deleting projects showed an error, but still did the job correctly.
  • So, we made it so that it doesn't show an error because it's working.
  • And for some users, when you were using dynamic cloning for translations, which is what you use if you have multiple speakers in the video, like you're doing a podcast, you're interviewing someone, OneTake will translate and give each person their own voice.
  • And the issue that we had is this feature was reproducing each person's voice a bit too well because it was also reproducing not just the voice, but also the sound environment.
  • So instead of doing what OneTake normally does on a video, which is to clean out the background noise and to make it sound really well, it ended up being that if you were doing a podcast with somebody that had dogs barking and noisy neighbors, then OneTake would very well reproduce their voice in the translation, but also would clone the neighbors and the dogs.
  • So the audio sounded exactly the same as the original.
  • But we have fixed this so that whether people are listening to the original language or to the translated version of the video, both versions have really professionally remastered audio and no longer have any issues that the person would have in the original sound.
  • Introducing B-Roll

  • Today, what I'm gonna present is the new feature that we are adding to OneTake 7.17, codename Hasky's Followers.
  • And everything I'm showing here will not be available in your account for right now as I'm doing the demo, but it is going to show up in a couple of days on Monday in your account.
  • The new feature is, drum roll, B-Roll.
  • So what is B-Roll?
  • This comes from the cinema industry.
  • When you're making a movie, if you were only shooting your very expensive actor walking from his hotel room to the car and just doing one very long shot of your James Bond, then the scene would very quickly get quite boring because people need the screen to move.
  • And so what filmmakers quickly realized is you can film your James Bond actor on the main role of film, so that's your A role, but then you would also send an intern to go out and grab a shot of James Bond's car, of the street, of the bad guy behind a lamppost, of the sky and the ominous flight of birds leaving.
  • And then you would have that on a separate roll of film, which is the B-roll.
  • And during editing, you would add little slices of B-roll in the middle of the reel so that the final movie has more depth to it because it is more visually rich.
  • So with B-roll, you can communicate emotions, and you can also.
  • Make the video less boring, more appealing.
  • And you can also illustrate points that you're making.
  • So if you are talking about Spain, you can......
  • Show where Spain is because maybe most people watching the video think that Spain is somewhere south of Mexico, like all the other countries that speak Spanish, I guess.
  • And then it's a good idea to show a world map and then we zoom onto Spain.
  • Or you might want to use B-roll because you want to convey an emotion.
  • And the show-don't-tell principle tells us that telling people that by buying this or joining this workshop, their family will be more united and the kids will stop scrolling their phones during dinner.
  • Saying it verbally while people are just looking at you and a bunch of texts next to you is one thing, but being able to show a happy family having dinner together is actually conveying the emotion that you want the person listening to feel.
  • Challenges of Adding B-Roll

  • So up until now, if you wanted to add B-roll into your videos, it was quite complicated.
  • You needed to first license some material or film it yourself, and then you needed to find the right content because then what's, "How do I illustrate freedom?" I don't know.
  • You need to find something that makes sense there, and then you needed to manually add the track on top of your other track where you're talking in an editing tool, but not mess up and put it in the wrong place or have it be half the screen and half of your face visible and then you have the family having dinner on the other half.
  • And it was quite complex, annoying, costly, and time-consuming.
  • So when we thought about adding B-roll to OneTake, we realized, well, we need to find a way that if you were working with a professional video editor, they would just do that and figure out the right things to put in the right spot.
  • So that's what OneTake is now able to do.
  • Starting on Monday, when you go to your account, you will see that there is a new setting in your account settings, which you can access by going to Settings here.
  • So this is not my account.
  • Well, I'm using the account of my colleague, Preetish.
  • He is a big football fan.
  • And if I scroll down, there's a new feature here called B-Roll Generation, and it says two things.
  • It says to customize the type of content and be able to exclude or prioritize.
  • You can mention it in your custom instructions.
  • And there's a toggle here to say whether you want it or not.
  • B-Roll Feature Rollout

  • So when we roll this out, by default, it's gonna be disabled.
  • Because this is a new feature, we want people to test it and give feedback and so on before we turn it on by default for everyone.
  • We do think that adding B-roll adds a lot of value to the content.
  • So for the vast majority, it's a huge improvement.
  • So at some point in the future, once we are really satisfied with the feedback we get on the feature, we will turn it on by default on all new videos.
  • But for now, for the first time that we roll it out, it's turned off by default, which means that if you forgot or never logged in and did not turn it on, then things continue as usual, like nothing is changing in your videos.
  • If you turn it on, then you can influence it with custom instructions.
  • I will come back to that in a second.
  • But what will happen is every time you do a new video, it will use B-roll.
  • Creating a Video with B-Roll

  • So let's go and create a video.
  • Let's just record something.
  • Okay.
  • I have no actual content to record, so I'm gonna completely improvise.
  • What could I talk about today?
  • Let's talk about the power of team.
  • I think that would make a good video.
  • The power of team.
  • It is amazing to realize that as entrepreneurs, the main thing we look for is freedom.
  • But many entrepreneurs end up working way more than people who have a regular job.
  • And that is because, as entrepreneurs, we tend to think that we need to figure everything out ourselves, and then we are so overburdened by work that we don't even realize we could be hiring people to help us or we could be using super useful, intelligent AI agents like OneTake to help us save a ton of time on video editing.
  • Building your team is one of the most rewarding and important parts of being an entrepreneur.
  • And that's what we are going to cover in this video series.
  • So if you're interested, just click the button below, and I will send you the rest of the videos.
  • Okay, I think that's a fairly good take.
  • I'll stop the recording now. Okay, so let's say this is my video.
  • I could have spoken for a much longer time.
  • But let's say we keep this one.
  • Editing Process with B-Roll

  • Because I enabled B-roll by default in my account now, you will notice that once OneTake is gonna start editing the video, it's going to have a new step that is showing in the process.
  • So I'll let my upload be ready, and you'll see the process start in a second.
  • Come on.
  • Through the process of editing, you can add additional things that you want it to do.
  • For instance, I recorded, I was looking at the camera.
  • But if I was using a teleprompter, I could check the box for gaze correction so that it looks like I'm looking at the camera.
  • I could say I want to add music, I want to translate the video.
  • For now, since what I'm demonstrating today is just B-roll, I just leave Generate B-roll clips checked.
  • And I'll give OneTake a minute or two to finish doing the editing.
  • We added this section, Additional Actions, because we realized that many of you.
  • When you upload the video, you already know that you also want to have it translated or to have the clips for social media from it, or to have all of this.
  • So we just make it easier for you to just say, "This is the whole job I want you to do," and save a bunch of time instead of waiting for the edit to be finished, and then clicking a button to get gaze corrected, and then saying, "Well, now I want to have shorts," and so on and so on.
  • B-Roll Generation Process

  • So OneTake is assembling the video, and then it's gonna generate B-roll.
  • So there are basically two ways to add B-rolls to a video.
  • Either you tell OneTake, "For all videos, I want B-roll to be added," like I just did in my settings.
  • Or you could have it turned off, and then when you see the process is going on, you can click the box for a specific video.
  • And I'm saying that because some people have cases where you have, for instance, different types of content, and you want B-roll on your marketing content.
  • But if you're recording, like, consulting calls with clients, you don't want to have the consulting call recordings to have B-roll in the middle of it because it would look weird.
  • So for that video, you can uncheck the box.
  • Okay.
  • So I want to show you something.
  • Finalizing the Video with B-Roll

  • When OneTake finished editing, it said, "Here's the video." And it said, "The video is published, but please note that I have a B-roll generation process currently in the works." Okay?
  • So this first version of the video does not have B-roll in it.
  • It's just me.
  • Let's talk about the power of team.
  • I think that would be a good clip.
  • So that's just me talking to the camera from start to finish.
  • And then while I was talking, it finished actually doing the B-roll.
  • And it gave me a new version.
  • So I'm saying that because if you ask OneTake to do multiple future steps, it's going to show you the preview as it goes so that you have the video already available.
  • But it's gonna tell you, "Well, I'm still working on the music, and I will fix the gaze correction, but here's what I have so far." And so that you can make the other edits that you need while the background work is happening as well.
  • I have a version with B-roll now.
  • I'll switch to a video style that is horizontal so that it's more visible.
  • And I'll show the version with B-roll.
  • Okay.
  • So a minute ago, I said that we can have custom instructions.
  • So we'll see Preetish's account's custom instructions.
  • Let's see if we get- Let's talk about the power of team.
  • I think that would make a good video.
  • The power of team.
  • It is amazing to realize that as entrepreneurs, the main thing we look for is freedom.
  • But many entrepreneurs end up working way more than people who have a regular job.
  • And that is because as entrepreneurs, we tend to think that we need to figure everything out ourselves. So, OneTake added images.
  • Now, I did this because
  • This is what happened to me when I was doing the French demo a few minutes ago, because I did the demo for French customers. We couldn't understand why for every metaphor OneTake was picking, football-related B-roll.
  • And that's because our good friend, my colleague Preetish, has it in his account setting.
  • This is his account.
  • Introduction to Custom Instructions

  • And so, my account setting says I sell to entrepreneurs, blah, blah, blah.
  • And Preetish's account says, "I'm a fan of football," and always shows football-related B-roll in my clips.
  • So, this is what happened to me earlier, which is...
  • Because this instruction was there in the custom instructions, all of the metaphors and things that I'm saying are going to get football-related images.
  • So, I just wanted to show you that this works in the sense that it will influence which images are chosen by OneTake.
  • So, you do not need to have such instructions there, so I'm gonna remove it.
  • But I'm gonna show you a couple of things.
  • Influence of Custom Instructions on B-roll

  • So, when I said, "the power of team," I had a team.
  • But it was a team of football players because of that instruction.
  • Let's say that we want to change it.
  • So first, as we......
  • set up the settings for our account.
  • I want to emphasize that this is something that we are increasingly training OneTake to follow, which are the instructions that you have in your settings, in your custom instructions here.
  • So, if you had said in your custom instructions, "My audience is made exclusively of women, and I prefer the images to show women because it's more relatable to my audience," for instance, then the B-roll picked would be influenced by that.
  • If you said something like, "I sell products to a senior audience that is looking to retire and live a peaceful financial life," for instance, then for the same content that you might be saying in the video, the B-roll that OneTake would select would show, on average, more mature, older people than an account that does not have this information.
  • So, the B-roll is selected based on both the context of what you're talking about in the video, so if I say, "The power of team," it's going to show a team, but also on what I have in my custom instructions, how I describe my business. So, if I say, "My audience likes cartoons," then I will have more cartoon or drawn B-roll.
  • Let me know in the chat if that's clear to everyone.
  • Manual B-roll Editing

  • Now, how would I manually add, edit, or remove B-roll for my video?
  • I can go into the script, and in the script editor, you will notice that now, when you hover over a sentence, you have a little call-out here that says B-roll.
  • So, for instance, here, when I say, "It is amazing to realize that as entrepreneurs, the main thing we look for is freedom," I could add an image to represent freedom there.
  • Okay?
  • So, I clicked on it, on B-roll, and I could say, well, maybe I have no idea, and I'm just gonna type "freedom" and see what I get.
  • But I could be like, "Hmm, okay, we got Ukraine.
  • I like these peaceful images, the birds.
  • I like this one." Okay?
  • So, I'll select this young lady, add the clip, and now this sentence will show this piece of B-roll.
  • Here, there is an existing B-roll segment, which is this group of people.
  • I want to change it, so I'm gonna hit replace.
  • And we're talking about figuring problems, so I could use this one, but this guy is maybe too young for my video, so I'm gonna write, let's see if I find something if I look for "complex problem." Okay.
  • I've got a math professor here.
  • I've got the Rubik's Cube.
  • I'll take this guy.
  • Okay?
  • So, I can change which B-roll was used at this part of the video.
  • Here, when we are talking about using super useful intelligent AI agents, because we are still football-based due to the prompt, it picked a football thing. I need something that's like AI, right?
  • So, I'm gonna have a robot.
  • Okay.
  • Not the scary robots from Boston Dynamics, but maybe I'll take this guy.
  • Okay?
  • So, I can change and add them.
  • Adding B-roll and Best Fit Options

  • Now, there are different ways that I can add B-roll.
  • The one that I just showed was, every time I clicked B-roll, you saw I went to the library here, and I searched because I knew what I was looking for.
  • I want to emphasize that here there's a button called Best Fit, and that's because depending on whether your video is horizontal, vertical, or square, you might want to use the right format of B-roll.
  • So, my video is horizontal, so OneTake is going to suggest with the Best Fit setting, mostly horizontal videos.
  • So, if I'm looking for a team, I will have horizontal videos of teams.
  • If I wanted a vertical one for a vertical video, it would also find segments that match this aspect ratio.
  • Okay.
  • This is important because if you use a vertical B-roll in a horizontal video, then, well, it's probably going to be cropped like this, so that's not amazing, and vice versa.
  • If you were using a horizontal landscape mode B-roll in a vertical video, then it would also get cropped, and you might end up with just the shoulder of this guy being visible.
  • So, the fact that OneTake suggests the right aspect ratio, Best Fit, means that whichever kind of video you're doing, you're gonna get something where the visual you're showing is actually in the shot and understandable when people watch it.
  • But you can see that you have two other options.
  • The second option is upload.
  • So, you can upload your own video to be used as the visual.
  • Why is that super useful?
  • So that, for instance, if you are referring to a client and saying, "Well, have you seen the testimonial we got from Jamie?" then here, you could inject the short clip from Jamie so that, as you're talking, we see Jamie's face.
  • So, B-roll is silent, but we can see who you're talking about.
  • You can upload the file here, or drag and drop a file here, or you can use the AI prompt to describe what you're looking to see in this moment of the video.
  • Okay.
  • So, you can say, "person driving a car," and ask OneTake to find it for you.
  • Okay.
  • So, this part is more experimental, but we are going to keep improving this to give you several suggestions.
  • So, you can say, even if you don't really know what you want to illustrate, then you would use the AI prompt.
  • Okay.
  • So, this part is more of a beta feature, but let's say that I want to illustrate a happy family moment, and I don't really know what I want those people to be doing, so I can't really search.
  • Maybe I don't know if I want the family to be at the pool, at dinner, or getting the kids from school, so whatever.
  • So, I'll just say, well, please find something that illustrates this emotion, and OneTake will try to find one for me.
  • and we...
  • This is a nice one.
  • Okay.
  • So, you have three ways to add B-roll to your content.
  • And then, you would hit save, and then it gets saved into your video.
  • So, this is going to be super useful because it helps give your video a new depth and much more life by making it more enjoyable to watch the content.
  • B-roll Feature Rollout

  • So, in terms of the rollout of the B-roll feature, there is an important notice regarding the rollout of B-roll.
  • Initially, what we were going to do is release this feature, and it was going to be a premium feature similar to gaze correction or background removal, because it requires significant resources to have all of these video assets and all of that.
  • And so, it was going to be basically like an add-on to have this automatically generated and added to your videos, and the ability to add them.
  • But then, what happened is, when we look at the vast majority of the videos that our OneTake users are using, we think that this is a feature that everybody should be able to use, most, almost all accounts.
  • And at the same time, we've also noticed that we had another feature that is used by a very small minority of accounts.
  • So, translation is used very rarely by the legacy accounts, meaning AppSumo accounts and Unlimited Pioneer accounts, business accounts, all of the accounts that existed before OneTake 7.0.
  • So, what we realized is that we have only a tiny group of people that are using this, and a large group of people that would be using B-roll.
  • So, the decision that we made in terms of the release of this feature is that when we're releasing B-roll, many people want it.
  • So, what we're going to do is for all the legacy plans, so the AppSumo accounts that had translation, the Business and Premium, and Unlimited Pioneer accounts, we have decided to give these accounts unlimited use of the B-roll feature.
  • So, you can use it automatically on the videos, on all videos, add, remove, or edit B-roll as much as you want, since it's helpful to everyone.
  • And we're basically swapping out this versus translations.
  • So, translation is going to become a standalone, separate feature.
  • So, it's like an add-on.
  • So, over the next four weeks, we'll be releasing this shift from one to the other.
  • And so, if you have questions or you have a special frequent use for translation, which we see is a very small minority group, then you can just get in touch with us before March 30th, so that we can figure out a solution specifically for your account.
  • But for most users, we feel like this trade-off will just make it better, because all of your videos are just going to be better.
  • And we wanted to be able to make that happen for you.
  • So, that's the rollout.
  • So, for everybody that had an account pre-OneTake 7.0, we're rolling out B-roll as part of your account.
  • And if you have a post-OneTake 7.0 account, then the Occasional tier gets to try the feature.
  • But then, the Pro and Premium Studio tiers will also have access and unlimited use of B-roll as well.
  • So, that's the big update.
  • As I said, it's going to be shipped as turned off by default, but you can turn it on for all future videos.
  • And then, over time, once we get enough feedback and confirmation that it's working as expected for everyone, then we will just turn it on by default for future videos.
  • And we will also notify everyone when we do that, just so that if you really wanted to have it off, then you can make sure that it remains turned off by default.
  • We try to have smart defaults, basically.
  • User Experience Improvements

  • We also made a few small improvements to make the user experience better.
  • So, I'm going to show it.
  • I was using the script editor a minute ago.
  • And what I noticed is that in the script, we wanted to make it really useful and easy for you to do quite a few things in there.
  • Namely, when you're editing and you want to change the display of a section of the video, which we call a scene, we made it so that each scene title here has its layout next to it, and you can change it here.
  • So here it says, "presenter only" because I'm full screen basically, so I can say this one is presenter with the title at the bottom, and then challenges of entrepreneurship, I want the text next to the presenter, and then conclusion and next step. So you can see that here, OneTake automatically detected that this was something that I probably would not want inside the video, right?
  • Because when I stopped recording, I don't know if you remember, when I was recording a minute ago, but I said, "Okay, I think that's a fairly good take.
  • I'll stop the recording now." So OneTake detected that I'm just talking to myself at this point.
  • This should not be in the final output, so it removed it.
  • Well, we made it easy for you to delete or add things back.
  • So here I could, well, I would not do it in real life, but I could add these two sentences back in one click, just restoring them basically, or I could delete them in one click with the red delete button here.
  • So we just make it so that when you're hovering with the mouse, it becomes really easy.
  • So same here at the intro when I ask, "Guys, what could I talk about today?" OneTake automatically detected that this makes no sense to have it here, so it deleted it, so we could start by saying, "Let's talk about the power of team." So we made this easier.
  • Another thing we are making easier is splitting a scene into two.
  • So let's say here we have a long scene on the challenges of entrepreneurship.
  • Maybe I want to split before I start talking about building the team as a rewarding thing, so I can just here in the middle add a new title, and I can just say, well, what would this one be?
  • The rewards of a team,
  • Okay?
  • Well, this is not a good title.
  • It is.
  • Yeah.
  • So I could add this here.
  • So these are now split into two, or I could do the opposite and merge by just deleting one of the titles, right?
  • So I could just click here and remove this title, so that these two scenes are joined.
  • So if I save, now I have the beginning of the video is me plus the title, and in the middle is me plus the text, and then the end is I can't remember what I did.
  • But the change was really easy to make, so...
  • The Power of Team and B-roll Usage

  • Let's talk about the power of team.
  • I think that would make a good video.
  • The power of team.
  • It is amazing to realize that as entrepreneurs, the main thing we look for is freedom, but many entrepreneurs end up working way more than people who have a regular job, and that is because as entrepreneurs, we tend to think that we need to figure everything out ourselves.
  • Okay, so you can see that the B-roll that's being used is the one that I selected when I went over and changed it. I want to change the colors.
  • I'll take a second and go here and say, yeah, I want to change colors.
  • And so I can make my changes super easy in here.
  • What I wanted to show then is also, so I showed adding and removing B-roll.
  • And then if I want to edit here and add images, I can. Next to B-roll, here is a different icon to add images, and if I click, I can import from my device or from a web link and then add an image to that sentence.
  • So I can add both a fixed image or I can add a video.
  • If you have the video and the text next to it, when you add videos like B-roll, it replaces the presenter, so B-roll is in the place of the original presenter.
  • And images go in the place of the text, so usually that's because for the use cases that we've seen, most of the time if you're adding an image, it's because you want to comment on the image, so it replaces the text, and when you're adding video, then it's because you want to show it as the B-roll, so it replaces the presenter.
  • Enhancing Videos with B-roll

  • So this is a big shift; being able to add B-roll is really, really cool because it will make the videos much more engaging.
  • And we had a note from a couple of you after the last demo about adding images, so uploading images inside the video where we realized that OneTake was compressing those images so that the files would not be too big, and the result was that it ended up making the images a smaller resolution than what you uploaded. Like if you added a complex schematic, then it was difficult to read it.
  • So One Take now
  • No longer resizes the images that are put inside of the videos so that they can be...
  • Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Full HD, inside of the video.
  • We also fixed a few bugs in this new version.
  • Over the last couple of weeks, we had frequent downtime of exports, so being able to export and download the video was affected due to the degraded availability of some of our servers. Therefore, we've added additional support so that we can handle the load and have fewer interruptions.
  • And we also noticed that for some people who had fairly long videos, such as one or two hours, very long master classes, like half-day-long workshops, what was happening was that when you were making manual edits to the script and trying to save them, OneTake did not take all of the changes into account, and that was very frustrating.
  • So, we solved that as well.
  • So, if you have long videos, it should no longer be an issue.
  • Future Developments

  • And I want to show a little bit of the roadmap, like where we are going and the things that we have been working on for the upcoming new versions of OneTake.
  • So, being able to auto-import content into OneTake.
  • We've already delivered auto-imports from YouTube into OneTake, so that OneTake grabs the new video from your channel.
  • We are working on adding Dropbox, and then later we'll add Zoom, so that every time you put a file there or finish recording a call, OneTake knows to go and edit it.
  • We have made B-roll available, starting with this new version.
  • So, this is going to be released in this new version.
  • It's amazing.
  • Video Analytics and Social Media Integration

  • We have started work on video analytics.
  • So, we should be able to give you access to a beta version of that soon.
  • This will be able to show you when you're using the OneTake share link or the OneTake player on your website, how many people have watched a video, whether they watched the video to the end, their average watch time, and where these viewers come from.
  • So you'll be able to see all of this.
  • And, da-da-da-da-da, a big feature that we are really excited to show is the ability for OneTake to export videos to social media and publish them directly to your socials.
  • Because we realized, actually, one of our customers told me to just look over her shoulder, and,
  • she had the goal of publishing 120 videos to social media in about a month.
  • Because she said, "Well, I'm going to record a podcast every week, so long-form, and then use OneTake to create clips from it, like Shorts, and then have those published on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and TikTok." When I looked at her working, I noticed how much work that was.
  • Because yes, she didn't need to do the editing, and yes, OneTake selected the clips, but then she had to hit export to download an MP4 for the main video, and then for each of the Shorts, upload each of the Shorts to each platform, and then schedule them to be released on whatever day at whatever time.
  • And it was such an eye-opening issue that we realized we need to make this much simpler.
  • So, what we are currently working on developing is enabling you, in the settings of your account, to tell OneTake, "Here's my YouTube page, here's my Facebook page, here's my Instagram account," so that they are connected. Then, once you finish a project in OneTake, you would be able to say, "Well, this video, I want you to post it to YouTube and LinkedIn, and that other video, I want it to go to Instagram and TikTok."
  • And so, we'll make it possible to push the video to the platforms, and also to schedule it, saying, "Well, I'm scheduling this to be the video for next Monday, and this one is for next Friday," and so on.
  • So that you can literally do, like, one Friday afternoon, and say, "By the end of the afternoon, all of my content for the next month is scheduled," and not have to use multiple tools to do that.
  • So, we have been working hard to deliver this, and we expect to have this within the next couple of updates of OneTake. That's going to be really, really helpful to save you a ton of time, which is the goal with OneTake.
  • We don't want to have you clicking for the sake of clicking for hours, downloading and uploading things.
  • Upcoming Features and Language Support

  • A couple of other things that we have in the pipeline include a new version of the teleprompter that will be optimized for mobile recording, because the current teleprompter works well on desktop, but is not perfectly adapted for phones.
  • Adding new languages for translations, specifically adding specific dialects.
  • We've been asked, for instance, to have an option to separate whether we want to translate to French French.
  • I was going to say "real French," and then I would have made so many enemies in just one sentence.
  • So, Parisian French, I will call it...
  • versus Canadian French, and you know what I'm talking about.
  • It's a different accent, so they wanted to be able to have that.
  • Mexican Spanish and so on.
  • So we will be releasing that as well.
  • And then, many other things, but I will mention a couple.
  • API access, so you can automate OneTake tasks, sorting projects into folders.
  • During the French session, there was a whole brigade of French users that said, "We really want that.
  • We have 200 videos.
  • We want to sort them into folders." And so, yes, we have many updates in the pipeline, but the most important one that's coming is the ability to publish to social media.
  • So that's gonna be really cool.
  • Let's see.
  • Lorenzo says, da, da, da.
  • This, you know, hmm, da, da, all the calendar scheduling delivery." Oh, yeah, that's really interesting.
  • So, Lorenzo, if you want to send a quick email to Preetish, that would be cool.
  • So you can show the workflow that you're using so that it can help us with ideas on how it can be most helpful.
  • That would be cool.
  • I gave you the contact in the chat.
  • Recap and Announcements

  • So, let me recap three important pieces of information.
  • Item number one, OneTake 7.17, code name Haskis Followers, is going to be available next week in your account.
  • You will have the B-roll feature and be able to create amazing videos, as we are always improving to ensure we help you.
  • So that's great news.
  • Item number two, I have given you a great gift, and some of you may not be aware.
  • so, this is, Christmas all year, with us.
  • And so, two weeks ago, I presented a live training on email marketing, focusing on how to write email marketing campaigns that will have you laughing all the way to the bank.
  • And I presented this live, and it was available as a gift to all OneTake customers.
  • A bunch of you were there live, but some of you might have missed it or part of it.
  • And,
  • some people also asked to get the recording so they could review and take action.
  • So we are going to send the replay link in a few days because we have a...
  • I think we haven't translated it to French yet, so that's why we haven't sent it yet.
  • But if you are here, I'm assuming you speak English, so I'm going to try to see...
  • Give me just one second...
  • if I have the link to the English replay page.
  • So I will just give it in the chat.
  • I already do, so I'll give you the link now because you're here.
  • And if you're watching a replay of this live session, aha, you should have been here live.
  • So, I'll send an email anyway with the link.
  • I think we mentioned a couple of resources, so we'll make sure to include them as well.
  • But if you didn't know, we did this training to help you create emails that convert.
  • Email Marketing Training

  • Today, you have like...
  • OneTake is really powerful to help write content.
  • And during the live demo with the French customers, somebody actually told me that they wish OneTake
  • still had the chat feature to create content, and this was just because they had not noticed that it's,
  • not only is it still there, but it's better.
  • On the homepage here, you have prompts to ask OneTake to do something for you, like write a script, find ideas, or write an ad, but you can also just write here.
  • So you can give instructions here, right?
  • You can say, well, "I'm brainstorming ideas for titles for a flash training webinar I will be gifting to OneTake customers.
  • I have an expert that will share how to do successful SEO in 2026 and bring in thousands of organic qualified leads.
  • Give me some titles." Okay?
  • So you can use it here, and OneTake, of course, knows all about your business and your projects and things like that, so it is able to give you great suggestions.
  • Using OneTake for Content Creation

  • So what I noticed is that OneTake is very capable of helping you think through things, prepare brainstorm content, and write scripts.
  • Once you have written a script for a video, you can click at the top to import or use the teleprompter.
  • So if you ask OneTake to write the script for you, then once you have the script, you can copy it and then go here, use the teleprompter and your webcam, and record yourself.
  • And so I did...
  • I'm showing that because I know that's,
  • Well, I think there are so many cool things that sometimes it's good to just have a quick reminder that, by the way, we do this.
  • Training and Resources

  • And what I was going to say, speaking to our customers and users, is that I realize that some people were using OneTake to create the emails, but they lacked a few essential foundations to ensure that the campaign would be great.
  • Because OneTake is able to write the email for you, but there are things that you need to know when you're preparing the campaign, like the timing of it, how many emails you are going to send, the offer, the angle, and what makes a good email.
  • So, I created this training, and you have access to it at no extra charge.
  • And I know that my colleagues who sell software disagree with me because they say, "Well, actually, one of the best upsells we could be doing to get more money out of people is to sell them the course that explains how to be more successful with the software." So, as of today, I have chosen not to sell this as an add-on but just give you access to it.
  • So, I put the link in the chat.
  • I will send it via email as well as my gift to you.
  • And as I actually said in the little screenshot that I just did, we do have a session planned.
  • We're trying to agree on a final date, but we do have an expert that we want to have in to talk about SEO and help you get more customers through organic traffic.
  • So, I will send an email once we have the date nailed down.
  • I will send an email with the date and the access link, and this session will also be a gift to you as a customer of OneTake.
  • Session Conclusion and Farewell

  • So, thanks for attending today's session.
  • You'll get the replay in a couple of days and the replay of the last flash training.
  • As soon as we are sure of the date with the SEO expert, we think it's going to be probably towards April.
  • I will tell you with enough time in advance and also put it in the calendar.
  • And if you didn't know, there is a calendar for OneTake customers that has all the live sessions and the free trainings as well.
  • So, you should have the link already, but if you don't have it, then here it is...
  • Yes.
  • Here it is in the chat.
  • And you get dates automatically.
  • Thanks for attending today's session.
  • I will see you very soon during our next live session.
  • Preetish, you did mention—Sébastien?
  • Yes.
  • I think there is a message by Dan that—oh, I missed this?
  • He did not answer.
  • Yeah.
  • Okay.
  • I'm scrolling back up.
  • I deleted it because I found it.
  • I was saying I don't have teleprompter; is that because I—
  • Oh, okay.
  • I have AppSumo three, but when I go in and actually create it, I do see teleprompter.
  • Ah, okay.
  • Cool.
  • So, thank you.
  • No worries.
  • Good surprises are always a good thing.
  • That's a good principle to have.
  • Thanks for attending.
  • I will see you all very soon in our next live session with even more good gifts and surprises, and I wish you all a very good end of morning, afternoon, evening, or night, depending on your timezone.
  • I'm super happy because I was able to do the entire live session today without a missile alarm.
  • I am in Dubai right now.
  • I had one as I was recording a demo video just before starting.
  • And so I'm just happy that we were able to do the thing without being interrupted.
  • And I just jinxed it probably, so I'm going to end it very quickly.
  • Chara is asking me if we do internships for college students on marketing.
  • Actually, that might be an option, Chara, yes.
  • So, I'll give you an email if you or that person email me with a resume and details, then we'll let you know if that is something we can make happen.
  • Have a fantastic day, and this Zoom room will self-destruct in five, four, three, two, one.
  • Bye-bye.
