trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

  • Foreign. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Hi everybody and welcome.
  • Hi Peter, Hi Teresa.
  • Hi Kishore, Imran, Chris, welcome, Vlad on the call.
  • Hi everyone and good morning, afternoon, evening, depending on which time zone you are joining us from.
  • From today, we are on this real-time live call to talk about what's new in OneTake.
  • We actually shipped all the updates that I'm going to share today to your account this week.
  • So my site says available since Friday, July 4th,
  • but these updates have already been in your account for a few days.
  • I'm going to show you the new cool stuff you have that maybe you didn't know you had. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And happy July 4th, by the way, for everybody that's in the U.S.
  • Let's get started.

Recent Updates and Features

  • Quick reminder, last time on the update for OneTake 6.10, codename Cyberman. trim-silence-between-words
  • We made a huge change to the user interface and experience of using OneTake.
  • So now the app has a completely new look, which is more robust but also more intuitive.
  • We made everything way easier to find on every change.
  • Way easier to make.
  • Today we are shipping OneTake 6.12.
  • We skipped 6.11, and OneTake 6.12 has one big change, which is a history feature. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • So I'm going to explain.
  • There are two big use cases that we were asked a lot about.

Use Cases and Challenges

trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

  • One is that some of you have the situation where you have OneTake edit the video and you have one version that you use, typically on YouTube for instance,
  • and then you make a couple of other changes to post on other platforms.
  • So we've seen users that want to have their video for YouTube as a horizontal video,
  • and then they switch the video styles and the colors and other settings in the video to have a square or vertical video to put on LinkedIn.
  • And one of the issues that some of those users were facing was basically they want to have several versions of what is essentially the same video without having to upload it and edit it twice.
  • The other situation that happened, which is a less fortunate and happy one, is that sometimes you have your video which is almost perfect, just like you like it,
  • but then you decide to experiment and make some changes.
  • Maybe you go to the editor and change something in the script,
  • and something happens that breaks the video. trim-silence-between-words
  • Basically, it's like you deleted something or changed something or made a modification to it that then makes it no longer fit for purpose. trim-silence-between-words
  • And then it's a huge pain in any kind of software to have to restart from scratch after investing a lot of effort and time into one project
  • and to find that just the last change that you made basically broke it and it's time to start from scratch.
  • So we decided to make sure that nobody would live through this pain ever again.

Introducing the History Feature

  • And so I'm going to show you how this history feature works. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So let's go from the home screen.
  • You start from your screen on OneTake, you have a list of your recent projects.
  • You can go see the list of all the projects you've done.
  • So let's take one that I have in my account, which is a recording of a presentation I did at Jeff Walker's LaunchCon seminar a few years ago. trim-silence-between-words
  • How many of you would like to increase your business at least 60% this year?
  • Okay, so we have this presentation,
  • and what you will find is that in your interface there's a new button that's at the top here that says history. trim-silence-between-words

Using the History Feature

  • Right now there's only one thing in the history, which is the original project. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • But let's say that I start making changes to this video.
  • So I change the style and I say, let's make it a vertical video. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • You'll notice that my history now has two events here, not just one; it says two.
  • I'll wait for a second for it to get done. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Now I have a vertical video. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • How many of you would like to increase your business at least 60% this year? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Okay, let's say I make other changes and add a soundtrack. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Okay, so now it's adding the soundtrack.
  • So every time you make a change to the video or to the script of the video, you will see that the history has an additional step on it.
  • So it starts from the original project, which is the oldest version of it.

Editing and Restoring Projects

  • Language change, video style change, which is when I made it vertical,
  • background music change, which is when I asked for a track and background music toggle, which means I turned it on by asking for a track because, of course, I'm just going to add music and have it be muted.
  • So you have a list of all the steps that you took in editing your video.
  • What is great with this feature is that at any point you can come back any number of steps to any previous version of your video.
  • So if you decided that actually the video was better without the music, you could either go and manually toggle the music off,
  • or you could just restore the version where you had your last change, which is I changed the video style.
  • It was all fine before I touched anything regarding the music.
  • And here on the right, you have this button that's called restore.
  • And if I click here, it will restore my project to what it was the last time that this happened.
  • So I can go back to here, so if I… I'm going to make a couple of other changes just to stack several of them.
  • So I'm going to change the style again and make it square. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Further Editing and Customization

  • And maybe, maybe I should add a logo as well. trim-silence-between-words
  • Add it just a little second. trim-silence-between-words
  • So it's a long video.
  • So it takes a minute.
  • Yeah, I'll add a logo. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • I have a bunch of OneTake logos.
  • So it's going to be a OneTake logo.
  • Okay, so I just made a bunch of edits to my video. trim-silence-between-words
  • I can still go back to back in the days when it was vertical.
  • When I changed the start to vertical and I preferred it that way at the time, I just hit restore. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Audio Adjustments and Communication

  • Can you do me a favor and raise your volume, please? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • No worries, I'll do it. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • I'm part of the older folks, so I'm a little bit deaf.
  • Noise.
  • Can you hear me better, Peter? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Is it better now, really?
  • Not really. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So it's Zoom.
  • It's set in Zoom to automatic.
  • I will just set it to manual and put it back slow.

Audio Adjustments and Communication Continued

  • Is it better now? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Can you talk to me?
  • I'll tell you.
  • I will speak very clearly and loudly now.
  • Better.
  • Thank you very much.
  • No worries.
  • So what I just did is I made a bunch of edits to my video, turned it vertical, changed the music, changed the style, and then made it square. trim-silence-between-words
  • I didn't like it when it was square.
  • So I just went back into history and restored the version that I liked.

History Feature Benefits

  • And so that's, if I look at the history analysis, restored the version 2, version 3, which was back when I had changed it to vertical. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So it will just save, basically it saves a backup every time you make a change to your video so that you can go back to any point in that history trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • and you can go back and forth as needed, which allows you to make changes without ever having the fear of breaking something.
  • Which when I observed a few of our users showing me how they were doing things, I noticed that this is one of the frustrating things is when you don't know whether testing a feature might do some damage that then would take hours to just restart the project from scratch. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • So now we solved that.
  • Because you know that any change that you make, you can still go back to where the project was. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Which means if you make changes, they roll back.
  • If you export the video and post it to other websites like you posted it on YouTube, of course, like we cannot roll back on some other platform or on your hard drive. trim-silence-between-words
  • If you created shorts or translations, they are not lost by coming back in time.
  • So this is also, I think, an important thing to note,
  • and if you had your video and you made a bunch of changes, you translated it to another language, let's say Spanish, trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • but then you roll back some of the changes you made to the video, it does not delete the translations that you had generated because it just wouldn't make sense for you to lose because you paid the minutes of translation and the credits to make the translation and to make the shorts. trim-silence-between-words
  • So we make sure that they are not lost by undoing and going back in time.

Limitations and Future Prospects

  • So this applies to both new projects that you create starting from now,
  • but also applies to if you edit all the projects that already exist in your account.
  • Of course, you cannot today undo a change that you have done last year on your project, because we didn't at the time have the history feature. trim-silence-between-words
  • We didn't at the time have the history feature.
  • But starting today, all the changes that you made are saved as a backup, which enables you to roll back changes.
  • So that includes also projects that you might have from earlier dates prior to this update. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So that's the first big change.

Upcoming Updates and Enhancements

trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

  • One of the reasons why we make this change is in a couple of minutes, I'm going to say a few words about 1 take 7, which is our big upcoming update this quarter,
  • and how we're going to roll it and release it. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And one of the important things that came up when we were designing this experience of working with the AI agents collaboratively and asking you to make changes is as we move forward, trim-silence-between-words
  • we're making the AI smarter and smarter over time so it has more capabilities,
  • which means that you'll be able to ask it to take more proactive action.
  • Like, I think the titles need to be punchier, right? trim-silence-between-words
  • So instead of typing a better title yourself, you could just say all the titles for the scenes should be punchier.
  • And if you set that, then it's going to change all of those titles.
  • Right?
  • Because it's smarter.
  • It saves you time.
  • Because now you don't have to review all the titles of all the sections of your video.
  • However, at the same time, because it's smarter and more powerful, we felt that it made even more sense to give you the opportunity to say,
  • whoa, okay, maybe it was fine the way it was, and we went a little bit too far with this last change.
  • So.
  • So let's roll back.
  • So before we release the agent that's able to do all kinds of things inside of the project,

Ensuring Flexibility and Control

  • we felt that it was important to give you always the ability to basically have a backup point at any time that changes are made to your video or Audio projects. trim-silence-between-words
  • So that's the first of the two big changes in this new version.

Introducing Audiograms

  • The second one is something that has been requested to us by some of you who do audio content. trim-silence-between-words
  • So these are audiograms, and I'm going to explain what that is.
  • When you log into One Take. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Let's see.
  • You should see my screen.
  • Yes.
  • When you log into One Take on Homepage there, you have the options to start a new project by either uploading something from your computer or phone. trim-silence-between-words
  • So my device, or using the webcam or the camera of the device, like a tablet or phone. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • It will be my webcam here. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So I can record directly into one Take.
  • With the webcam.
  • I can use the audio feature so that I record directly my voice into ontake, so that uses the microphone of the computer or the microphone of the phone or tablet. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Recording and Importing Options

  • I can record my screen, which is the screencast button.
  • I can import from Google Drive or from a Wet Blink.
  • I can grab any video that's public on YouTube or unlisted on YouTube, not just your own channel.
  • You can grab videos from other channels if you need to import them and edit them.
  • And I can import from Dropbox or Connect One Take to Zoom and grab a recording of a Zoom Call.
  • Group call, Coaching Call. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Now, what we noticed is that most of the content that One Take processes are videos.
  • However, we enable the possibility to upload content that is purely audio.
  • So some of our users use that because sometimes they do, for instance, coaching calls, where they only have the audio of themselves coaching the client or the group of clients.
  • So it's just they want to keep the recording for future reference for these clients or to use it on their website as additional content. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • There's the case of folks that just speak their mind because they want to use the transcript later to create blog posts or to have it saved as transcribed content and when they transcribe them.
  • And also there's the case of people that want to record an audio podcast, to publish on whatever podcast platforms and to get new leads.

Audio Processing and Enhancements

  • What happens is, if you record audio, then One Take will do the same editing that it does for your videos. trim-silence-between-words
  • It will remove the awkward silences, remove the background noise, just improve the overall quality of the output.
  • It will also normalize the volume if you have multiple speakers and one person, as experienced by Peter, has their mic set too low in Zoom and so you can barely hear the host, trim-silence-between-words
  • and maybe the interviewee has their mic set to the maximum.
  • So it's like blowing your eardrums out.
  • So one Take will normalize both to the same volume so it's easier on the ear.
  • And then it normalizes the whole track to the international -16 DB level, which is what you expect to hear from professional podcasts on Spotify, Apple, iTunes, SoundCloud and other platforms.
  • So one thing we'll do that to the audio but also give you a video.
  • So how it works is very simple, is I could import an audio that already exists so I could record a new one. trim-silence-between-words
  • So I'll do a new one audio here. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Welcome to this new episode of our podcast, the Secrets of Successful Entrepreneurs.
  • In today's podcast, I'm going to talk about the surprising difference between businesses that tend to stagnate and others that will double this year and double next year and double the year after that.
  • After helping more than 300,000 entrepreneurs in 41 countries with the free entrepreneur movement, I've noticed something really counterintuitive.

Podcast Content and Insights

  • The businesses that double every year tend to have the entrepreneur do less work than the businesses that stagnate from year to year.
  • The reason is that the businesses that stagnate use the entrepreneur as a repetitive resource where they will be running the same marketing and sales efforts every single week, every month, every year that they did the year before.
  • Whereas the businesses that double every year tend to use a strategy that I call the water slide.
  • It is an evergreen sales system where you set up the system once and then you spend your year grabbing new leads and putting new leads into the funnel so you can increase your sales without having to do the selling work yourself.
  • Okay, let's say that this is my episode of the podcast. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Okay, let's say that this is my episode of the podcast.
  • I didn't use my webcam because maybe I had, I don't know, a bad hair day.
  • Which the the advantage of having cornrows is you only have one bad hair day every couple weeks and then once the hair is done, you're fine. trim-silence-between-words
  • So that doesn't happen to me, but let's say it happened.
  • You had a bad hair day.
  • You just wanted to do the audio, but you still want one take to create a video out.
  • So I'll upload it. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Processing and Output Options

  • And so one take grabs my file will process it as it usually does. trim-silence-between-words
  • So I'm going to have to click the magic button so that it can run the process.
  • Of course, I'm using a lot of bandwidth with zoom and my screen share and one take at the same time, but we'll do that and so what we will be doing. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • So I'm going to click the magic button here and let One Take do the work. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So while it's working, I explained that now we might want to have two different outputs. trim-silence-between-words
  • One output is the cleaned up audio that I can use for the podcast platforms. trim-silence-between-words
  • And the second one is something that still plays the audio but has some kind of visual so that it's not entirely static.
  • And that's what One Take will do.
  • And One Take will have two ways to do so.
  • I'm going to show the settings.
  • I'm going to show the settings. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • It's it's editing my video.
  • I'm going to open the pricing projects.

Settings and Customization

trim-silence-between-words

  • If not at any point inside the One Take interface, you can click this icon here and click Settings. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Or in the left hand menu, you also have the same settings button. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And in Settings, inside of Video editing, you have an option for how much text to include.
  • So what it should be doing right now while it's editing my podcast is because I said turn my video into a text-only presentation.
  • So what it should be doing right now while it's editing my podcast is because I said turn my video into a text only presentation. trim-silence-between-words
  • It's going to show it as if it.
  • Wait, I'm on the wrong project.
  • I think I clicked on it.
  • He's going to show it as if it was.
  • Welcome to this new episode of our podcast, the Secrets of Successful Entrepreneurs. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Let me restart because I don't think you have the sound.
  • I was not sharing sound.

Audio and Visual Presentation

  • So this is the orchard I recorded a couple of seconds ago. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Welcome to this new episode of our podcast, the Secrets of Successful Entrepreneurs.
  • In today's podcast, I'm going to talk about the surprising difference between businesses.
  • Okay, so what it's done basically is create a PowerPoint presentation out of the content of my podcast so that there is something visual.
  • If I wanted to post it on YouTube because this is a horizontal video,
  • or if I wanted to post it on say Instagram, I might make it square or make it vertical.
  • Let's do the vertical one, for instance. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Welcome to this new episode of our podcast, the Secrets of Successful Entrepreneurs.
  • In today's podcast, I'm So this is just a visual to have text that goes.
  • That is created to go.
  • Because I didn't, I only gave it an audio track.
  • So instead of having a black screen and just my voice, it does this.

Audiogram Options and Settings

  • The other option which is new is if you did not have this in your settings.
  • So let's go back.
  • We went to the menu, we click settings, we want to video editing and then we want to how much text to include.
  • And here the default is turn my video into a professional presentation. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And we can ask for text only, which is what I had, or we can ask for show only the titles. trim-silence-between-words
  • Okay, let's say I had my video, my setting as show only the titles. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So I'm not going to re.
  • Upload, re record another podcast. trim-silence-between-words
  • I'm just going to show you how it would have been if I had that setting.
  • Okay, so I'm going to do manually what it was it would have done automatically. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So let's go back to our original video style, which was I think this one. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So what we saw was one take creating text to match what I'm saying to animate the content.

Audiogram Visuals and Engagement

  • But audiograms is one take just showing. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • I'm gonna do it like this. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • If I set this to present the first title, which is what sets in, it's simply going to animate a waveform as I'm speaking to make the. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • To have something visual happen while, while people are listening.
  • So it's going to play.
  • Welcome to this new episode of our podcast, the Secrets of Successful Entrepreneurs in today.
  • Okay, so I could have it like that or I could have it with subtitles. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Welcome to this new episode of our podcast the Secrets of successful Entrepreneurs in today.
  • Okay, so it's just generating a waveform.
  • That's what is called an audiogram that is showing movement because the, the brain of the person on the Internet likes to have something move on the screen as they are listening. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • And so it increases how long people are not really watching the video but consuming the content, even if it's just an audio. trim-silence-between-words
  • So instead of just playing the audio track with nothing happening, just the fact that something is happening visually is gives you an increase in how long people will consume the content.

Exporting and Sharing Content

  • So as usual, when one take generates the video or audio for you, you can download it by clicking here at the top. trim-silence-between-words
  • You have a export button.
  • Here you click export and you can generate either an MP3, which is an audio version of your content.
  • So that would be the podcast I would put on SoundCloud or Spotify or itunes.
  • Or I can ask for an MP4, which is the video that I could put on YouTube or social media.
  • Or I can ask for both and then I get the video and the audio, and I can put both on all platforms.
  • Okay.
  • Any questions?
  • I see.
  • Diane, looks like you had a question.
  • Maybe.
  • No, Diane. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Good.

History and Shorts Features

  • So as always, any change that I made, you can see now it's in the history.
  • So I could restore to a previous version if I wanted, which is the other news of today.
  • So the two big news are the history feature audiograms.
  • And then as part of the little things, we have also improved the AI engine that determines the shorts from your longer form video. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And so let me show you how you do this. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Sometimes you have a video that is too long to be posted on some of the social media platforms.
  • So for instance, my conference here is I think an hour.
  • So we turned it into a vertical video for the sake of this demonstration.
  • But it is a 39 minute presentation.
  • So if I try to upload this to Instagram Reels or TikTok or YouTube Shorts, the platform would look at me like there is something fundamental about the Internet that I do not understand.
  • And oftentimes that platform will just reject my video because it's way too long for a platform called YouTube Shorts.
  • So I cannot just upload this gigantic file there, even though I made it vertical, which is what the platform seems to want. trim-silence-between-words
  • So if I wanted to have some sound bites that are valuable enough for people to watch them for 15 to 60 seconds, but at the same time catchy enough for the platform to want to show them to them,
  • and I did not want to spend two days editing this video myself, then all I need to do is click this shorts button at the top right and click suggest shorts from this video at the bottom here. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Creating Shorts for Social Media

  • And now it asks me if I have any preferences on which kind of shorts one take should suggest. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So I'm gonna, I'm gonna either select just suggest the best shorts to just let the AI do its magic, trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • or I can say, I have specific instructions and I could say, for instance, focus on strategies to increase revenue without adding new staff or additional work for the entrepreneur. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • Okay, so out of everything that is said in the video, maybe that's what I would like to emphasize in the short segments for social media. trim-silence-between-words
  • So because this video has lots of other things like my life story or whatever, and maybe that's not interesting.
  • So do not use any segments with personal stories. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Focus on business stuff. trim-silence-between-words
  • Okay, so I click generate. trim-silence-between-words
  • And now what one take will do is analyze the video to figure out what would have the most impact on social media.
  • It's going to take a couple of minutes and it's going to give me a list here.
  • Typically between 5 and 10 of the best segments that it thinks would work best on social media. trim-silence-between-words
  • Based on my video.
  • One of the limitations that we used to have is we had some users tell us that they were in a bind because they had a video that was too long for the platforms. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • For social media platforms it was like maybe three minutes.

Addressing Platform Limitations

  • And so the platform would not take the video because it said it is too long.
  • The limit is 90 seconds.
  • And then we upload the video to One Take and ask for shorts.
  • But our AI was saying, well, the video is too short, it's already three minutes, it's not worth cutting it down further.
  • So they were in this sad middle where they could just not use it because our AI did not want to make each other.
  • And then the platform said it was still too long.
  • So we've improved that as well so that you would not face this limitation.
  • And now even if you have a video that is within this middle ground, then one take will still extract what makes sense within the time limit that goes on the social media platforms. trim-silence-between-words
  • So here it's going to show me as it's editing and adding new shorts, it's going to add it there.
  • So here I have two.
  • It just added a third one.
  • Now I'm going to get more.

Shorts Generation and Evaluation

  • If I just leave the screen open, I'm going to get more.
  • Just how many of you would like to increase your business at least 60% this year so I can preview them?
  • I can see the virality score here.
  • So the higher the score, the more relevant the AI thinks this short will be.
  • So typically if it is 90 plus or 85 plus, that means this is pretty good for social media. trim-silence-between-words
  • It's going to work pretty well.
  • If so this one is 89, the new one that just appeared, it puts the best one at the top. trim-silence-between-words
  • So at the bottom I have a 77.
  • For instance, if it's like in the 65 to 75 range, you really want to watch it before you publish it because it might be less coherent or less appropriate or less relevant. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And if it's below, let's say 65, 70, then it might just not be very not really be worth posting.
  • But the AI will still say, well, this is what I've done, but here's the score so that you can have a quick glance.
  • Like for instance, for this video it's already given me 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

Evaluating and Selecting Shorts

trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

  • If I know that I only have two, I'm only going to publish two this week, then maybe I will just take the top two.
  • Oh, here's a new one with a score of 97.
  • So I would maybe just pick the top two or maybe watch the three at the top and pick two instead of going out and re watching all of them and taking the 75 which might just not make sense. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So for a given short I can hey, here's another one.
  • It score 90.
  • See, it's still working.
  • I can edit if I click there. trim-silence-between-words
  • It explains to me why this one has a score of 97 and I can make some changes to it. trim-silence-between-words
  • And I can, which is the most important here, export it so that I could post it to Instagram Reels, TikTok or YouTube shorts. trim-silence-between-words
  • Okay.
  • So I can export any of the shorts or all of the shorts.
  • Depends on your account subscription level. trim-silence-between-words

Subscription Levels and Features

  • Okay.
  • Some accounts have the ability to do not have the ability to change choice. trim-silence-between-words
  • But if you are on a business premium Pioneer account, then you have this feature. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So this is also very, very much improved in this new version of Fontex 6.12. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Kishore asked me a question in the chat. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • When making audiograms can you cure a static picture of the person and making interviews on audio recordings? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Okay, so just to clarify what you would like to do, Kishore, tell me if I understood properly is you would like to be able to add an image that would be used as say the. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • The background behind the orgram or something like that when the video is playing.
  • Is that correct?
  • Yeah, that's correct. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Okay.
  • So that would be the case where it's an interview and you want to show the photograph of the interview we as the background. trim-silence-between-words

User Feedback and Feature Requests

  • Okay.
  • So I've taken note of that so that we can.
  • So right now it's not like the orthogram is.
  • Is the way I showed it.
  • But I think this is something that we should be able to do with not too much difficulty yet.
  • Okay, thanks.
  • Because it's just an included feature and can help you see.
  • I mean you have interviews and then you, you don't have a video.
  • So I mean if you have access to.
  • He gives access to his.
  • Some photographs.
  • He said okay.
  • And then I can include his message which is photographs.

User Feedback and Feature Requests Continued

  • So it makes it more or one or a college, you know, just interesting ones. trim-silence-between-words
  • Thanks.
  • Thank you.
  • Sure. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And Diane says, I know this sounds crazy, but can I make shorts of videos with my person video if I do coaching sessions and I don't want to my client's voice picture. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So Diane, please help me make sure that I understood your question properly.
  • So you're saying, let's say for instance, you're doing a group call and you have coaching clients on there and maybe they are asking questions.
  • And so based on your answers, you realize, oh my God, I covered some important points that make this recording very valuable. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • But you're saying you wouldn't want to post on social media excerpts that include the customer's question because there's the privacy issue of having them on your TikTok or whatever. trim-silence-between-words
  • So.
  • But you would like the choice to come from your section. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Yeah.

User Feedback and Feature Requests Continued

  • Is that correct? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So if I was going to do that and we need to test it.
  • So I'm going to ask Pritish to take a note that this is something we need to test internally and make sure that it works as I'm going to describe, trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • because in theory this is already possible, but we never tested this exact use case and we can easily do it.
  • So right now the way you would do that is when you let me share screen when you ask for the shorts. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • So here I've already done it.
  • Let's do here when you ask for the shorts, I'll do it. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Which one?
  • The video.
  • I have not done it here.
  • This is a Portuguese one.
  • When you say suggest short from this video here I would say based on my specific instructions. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And here I would say only include segments where Diane is speaking.

User Feedback and Feature Requests Continued

  • Do not include any questions from the coaching clients on the calls. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • I do not want any of their interventions or speaking segments inside of the choice. trim-silence-between-words
  • And I'm writing here, Diane, like I, if, if it was for myself, I would write Sebastian like in the third person just to make it clear to the AI that because if I said only include segments where I am speaking, it might be confused.
  • Like at any point in the video, it's always I who is speaking, even if it's three different people.
  • So I would specifically say segments where it's DM speaking. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • None of the questions. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And this right now should already be functional, but we are going to test it on several of our own group coaching calls just to check and make sure. trim-silence-between-words
  • If we need to improve how our AI is trained to follow instructions, we will do that.
  • But I'm fairly sure that you should already be able to obtain that result by giving it such a prompt.
  • Okay, thank you. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • My pleasure.
  • And so you do, do you do.

User Feedback and Feature Requests Continued

trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

  • What is the setting in which you, you would have the good coaching calls. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Currently right now approaching.
  • And I don't ever want people are on. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So what you describe is exactly it.
  • But I'm about to launch a box and that's what we're called to be able to pull out shorts without ever disclosing anybody. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Okay, perfect.
  • So in that case, it would be the shorts would be based on the sound bites from the advice that you have given?
  • Yes.
  • Okay.
  • So I would even in my instructions here say I want to focus on sound bites from the advice. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So still speaking about yourself in third person has given on this call. trim-silence-between-words
  • Okay.

User Feedback and Feature Requests Continued

trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

  • And you think I can do that?
  • With Vic, because I already have recordings.
  • So you think right now I can probably pull up those recordings, put them in and label these instructions.
  • I can screw them down enough.
  • And you think it should probably work?
  • Yes, I think it's worth.
  • If we're trying right now with pre existing recordings that you have and also it will even give us like either it works on the first try or if it doesn't then you can just send us to support and say hey, here's the example, here's the project I sent. trim-silence-between-words
  • Look at the shorts.
  • So that since we will have like a real use case, we will improve the training of the AI for this feature to make sure that it works.
  • So I'm fairly sure that with this kind of very clear instruction, I do not shy away from being redundant in the instruction.
  • I'll post it in the zoom chat so you can copy paste it if you want to use it in the future. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And yeah, if that doesn't work, then definitely tell us.

User Feedback and Feature Requests Continued

  • So we would.
  • We will test.
  • We will do a lot of testing until we we make it work because it makes 100 sense. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Awesome.
  • Thank you so much.
  • Thank you, Diane. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And am I pronouncing your first name properly?
  • Because I'm pronouncing it like a Frenchman?
  • I guess so I say Diane, but it's probably Diane.
  • Yes, but I actually like the way you're saying it better.
  • Okay, it sounds good, so pardon my French. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So very quickly speaking a little bit about what is coming. trim-silence-between-words

Summary of New Features

  • So we've shipped the improved shorts feature, the history feature that I showed today, audiograms for podcasts as well, which was a highly requested feature when we did the user experience workshops to prepare for 1 take 7. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • And we are soon going to make available 1 take 7 so you can talk to the AI directly.
  • We have a lot of other things that are coming in the coming updates.
  • Upgrading the chat experience with the AI being able to whittle down a video from a long form to a medium length, reducing the amount of text that is shown. trim-silence-between-words
  • Automating 1 Take tasks with Zapier make or anything because you have API access soon.
  • Organizing projects, creating chapters Teleprompter Correcting the gaze.
  • If you're looking at the teleprompter, one of the things we have on our slate as well is the ability to say well maybe you recorded in three different takes.
  • So now you have three different videos that one take needs to merge or you want to add an intro on natural green screen. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • Transparency will be a big part of 1 take 7.
  • So that 1 take is able to explain what's going on and translating videos with multiple speakers, which will be shipped much earlier than this list seems to show because Vlad sent me today a demo of how far along we are already with multiple speaker translation. trim-silence-between-words
  • It's already amazing.
  • So I think this will be available pretty soon.
  • And then video analytics.
  • So 1take7. trim-silence-between-words
  • Let's talk about 1take7.

Introducing 1Take7

  • We have sent you as a 1take customer, a link to apply to become a better tester for 1 take 7.
  • And I'm going to ask Atul to please paste the link in the chat as well.
  • Thank you, Atul.
  • You were faster than me. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So we are going to release 100 and take seven in a different way than what we've done for every release before up to now. trim-silence-between-words
  • If you've been with us since one take, we are now version 6.12.
  • So we've done quite a lot of updates since the first version.
  • Before that it was called New Video, which had also a two week update cycle.
  • And every time, what we have done so far was we just ship the new version to everybody's new accounts and we do the live call and we say, hey, by the way, here's what has been new on our account since this morning or two days ago, or here's what's going to be new two days from now in everybody's account. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • 167 is a is a huge shift in the paradigm of how to work with the AI, where instead of having to basically do the fixes yourself, if you want to change the colors and the look and change the titles in the videos, right now you go to the editor and change the script or you go and change the settings for the video.
  • With 1 take 7, it's a different experience because as I've mentioned on many calls before, the vision for One Take is to be able to interact with the AI the same way you would interact with a talented videographer.

Vision for 1Take7

  • And for the documentary that I've published, a few years ago, I worked with a really talented young videographer.
  • His name is Remy. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And when Remy would send me, for instance, the trailer for the documentary, I would not jump into the video editing software and fix the titles myself.
  • If something needed to be changed, I would just message back and send him a message, or just send him a voice message and say, I mean this is pretty good. trim-silence-between-words
  • But the titles are not like, do not have enough contrast.
  • You put a pale blue.
  • I think if they were white, then it would be much easier to.
  • They would be much clearer.
  • Or I would say Things like, I think all the titles need to be punch here and then because Remy is really smart guy, he would figure it out and make all the titles like more impactful. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • So that's the experience that we're going for with 1 take 7, which means that instead of doing the, we just overrode everybody's web interface to the new one. trim-silence-between-words
  • What we are doing with one Take seven is we are making right now available link to apply to be a beta tester when we will open it, which will be this month.
  • I don't have the exact date yet, but we will email you for the announcement.

Beta Testing and Feedback

  • We will open a new server separate from the main one that has your main account.
  • And this account that we will give you on the new server will be the one where you can do all of your testing and have fun with it and not be concerned about A messing something up that impacts your course or your videos that are published on your website and B eating up your actual basic credits of what you can do with one Take because the limits will be separate so you can enjoy 1 take 7 and try it and test it and go wild with it without impacting your business needs for your one Take account.
  • And so we're doing that because we want to get the feedback and polish everything so that by the time we feel during this summer, okay, we are ready to release it to everyone into the bigger public, then we will already have gone through all of the kinks without endangering any of your existing projects and without making the experience frustrating. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • Okay?
  • So we want to make this very smooth.
  • So Atul sent the link in the chat.
  • I just want to say that initially when we sent the email to say we are recruiting beta testers for 1 Tik7, we were expecting like 20 people to join. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
  • And so when Atul sent me a message, I think it was yesterday saying, okay, we only have like 105 people signed up, I went into a little bit of anxiety there because I'm like, there is a point where if 100% of everybody ends up also being on the beta testing, then it's like we are really testing publicly, no longer in beta. trim-silence-between-words
  • So I think we will close the form soon.
  • So if you haven't filled it out to get a beta testing account, then please just do it today or after you watch today's session. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And yeah, I think within the next couple of weeks we should be able to open the better access to you.
  • It will not be available to the big public until we feel that we've iterated on your Feedback enough to release it publicly. trim-silence-between-words
  • And I think it's going to be awesome.

Beta Testing and Feedback Continued

  • So I'm really excited to have you join.
  • Our plan is when we open the beta accounts, we will do a live call to demo how things work, to show you how to access your account and have you access it live.
  • So we make sure that everybody has access and it's working properly for everyone.
  • And in the next few weeks, we have quite a few cool things coming.
  • So we have another real time two weeks from now on Friday, 18th of July. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • And we have planned this summer a few live workshops and other trainings to help you grow your business. trim-silence-between-words
  • And I have to say, if you did not attend yesterday's live call, we are going to send the review the replay, sorry, the replay via email. trim-silence-between-words
  • I would highly recommend watching the replay.
  • It was very highly rated by everybody that was there on the call. trim-silence-between-words
  • Yesterday's live call was where I debriefed how we raised a million dollars for one take in our seed round.
  • And I explained not just like it was not for startups.
  • It was presented in the idea that as an entrepreneur, how do you figure out how much capital your company needs?

Entrepreneurial Insights and Funding

  • Does it need to raise money or not?
  • Is it investable? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • How do you figure out the numbers?
  • Where should you raise?
  • What are the different options? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • How do you present the project and avoid the traps of what people call the pitch deck?
  • I give a lot of very tactical, detailed information.
  • And so I think it's a very interesting call for any entrepreneur, whether you are currently thinking of raising money or not.
  • I think it is very valuable.
  • So we will send a replay link for that.
  • And I think Atul is in the process of creating a replay page that has the replays of all the recent workshops that we have created.
  • Because I know that sometimes due to the time zone sequence, we have people from the entire planet.

Global Community and Accessibility

  • So even when we try to accommodate everybody's daylight time, it's just not possible for 100% of people like you cannot be daylight in Singapore, Paris, Los Angeles, New York.
  • At the same time, I think this is not possible.
  • So we are sending the replays for that as well. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
  • As always, thank you for being a part of one take.
  • Thank you for attending today's call.
  • I will see you in two weeks for the next live call, the real time.
  • And I will also see you on the live call.
  • If you're a beta tester, the live call that will run once we are ready to open your account on the new platform.
  • Thank you for attending.
  • Have a fantastic day.
  • Evening, afternoon, night, morning, depending on where you are in the world right now.

Closing Remarks

  • And this Zoom Room will self destruct in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
  • Bye bye. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
