Revolutionary Updates: OneTake 7.21 Unveiled!

  • Hello, and welcome.
  • Good morning, good afternoon, depending on your time zone,
  • and welcome to this session of Real Time with OneTake AI.
  • Today, I will be sharing all that is new in OneTake AI 7.21,
  • which is going to be available in your account within a few days.
  • Updates rolling out

  • So, I'm going to list quite a few updates, new features, and new things,
  • and we are rolling those out throughout mid-next week.
  • But some of it you already have in your account,
  • so let's just get started with a quick recap.
  • Mini-website for videos

  • Last time we met for OneTake AI 7.19,
  • and what was new in the last demo is that we made a couple of things simpler and easier to find and to do.
  • So, for instance, there used to be too many steps to go and download, publish, or share a project,
  • so we made it much simpler.
  • So now, if you are working on a project, your options to share and publish are up top here,
  • and you have it all in the same space.
  • The link to the video and transcript, as a reminder, OneTake AI creates a mini-website for all of your videos that has:
  • the video itself,
  • Embed and share

  • its transcript,
  • the searchable transcript,
  • and the key highlights from the video as well.
  • So the video is going to play at the top,
  • and then it has the description, main scenes, and the transcript.
  • You have the link to the video itself so that you can just share the direct link to the video with someone.
  • You can embed the player,
  • and clicking this will copy the code that you can then paste into:
  • Supported platforms

  • Wix,
  • Webflow,
  • ClickFunnels,
  • GoHighLevel,
  • WordPress,
  • Kajabi,
  • Teachable,
  • or any platform.
  • And the link to export and get your videos done is also here,
  • all in the same place.
  • Download the latest version

  • Another thing that we noticed is that sometimes you say, "Well, I want to download the video,"
  • so you click MP4, the video,
  • and then OneTake AI generates the video for you,
  • and then you go back and make changes.
  • So what happens is, if you've made changes to the project, but you had this old download link,
  • we want you to know, to be sure that when you download your video, you're always downloading the newest version.
  • Reexport after edits

  • So here you can see that I, during my French demo a few hours ago, exported a video.
  • So I have a download link here.
  • If I click it, I will get the downloads to...
  • Yeah, the download just started on my computer.
  • But it does say that a newer version of the project is available,
  • and I need to click Reexport to get the newest version,
  • because during the live demo, I first downloaded it, and then I made some changes,
  • so there was a new version.
  • And we'll come back to why I look so sad in this video in a few moments.
  • Auto layout selection

  • And then, another big shift is OneTake AI also picks the layouts now based on the content, the settings, and your custom instructions.
  • How it used to be is that you would tell OneTake AI how much text you want in the video,
  • and it would apply that setting to the entire video.
  • So you could only say, "Show me," plus the title of the scene, like the segment of the video,
  • or, "Show me," plus the text on the side,
  • and it would just do that for the whole video.
  • What it does now is much smarter,
  • When to show text

  • which is to adjust the layout based on what's being taught, explained, or shared in this moment of the video.
  • So usually, when you're making the intro, you don't need to have a transcript of what you're saying.
  • If you're telling a story or a joke, you don't want every line of the joke to be spelled out on screen.
  • But if you're making an explanation and you're telling people the three steps to achieve XYZ,
  • then you want those,
  • because you want this information to be impactful for the person watching.
  • And if you have an important quote,
  • then OneTake AI will know, okay, this is like you just said something that is quotable,
  • so it should be shown in full screen, just the quote, so people remember it.
  • And then if you have a recap at the end of your video with a call to action and what to do based on what you're taught in this module or questions that they need to ask themselves after watching,
  • Enable auto layouts

  • then OneTake AI will also show those on the screen as well.
  • So, this is going to be a much-noticed improvement,
  • and in order to turn it on, because every new account has this turned on by default,
  • but what might happen is that you might have in the past changed the setting and now it's no longer the default where OneTake AI figures it out by itself.
  • So, you would go into Settings, which is in the left-hand menu here.
  • Settings.
  • Or clicking your initial and then Settings,
  • and then you land on this Settings page where I am right now.
  • And then on this page, you have:
  • Custom Instructions,
  • B-Roll and defaults

  • Vocabulary,
  • and all of the default settings for instant editing.
  • And so, a couple of versions ago, we rolled out B-Roll,
  • so this is turned on by default.
  • If it's not, then I highly recommend you turn it on.
  • Such as Mistakes, how much text on if you had downgraded that to no text,
  • then I would recommend you to move it back to the recommended settings,
  • where OneTake AI will pick how much text to show at each moment of the video,
  • and use its smart brain to figure it out.
  • Custom vocabulary

  • So you can adjust this at any time.
  • What else was new last time?
  • A few short improvements.
  • One of them was I showed how you can replace a word throughout the entire video.
  • What might happen sometimes is...
  • You do a long-form video, and there is something that is badly spelled, badly transcribed.
  • How do you fix this?
  • First of all, you can fix this at the level of your whole account for all your videos in the future,
  • by just going to your account settings and custom vocabulary and entering the name of your brand, your name, and the names of the people who interview you for podcasts,
  • so that these names are always spelled properly by OneTake AI.
  • Handle unknown names

  • So this is the way you would do that by default.
  • Just set the custom vocabulary on this screen,
  • and then when you upload the new project, you'll notice that there is a custom vocabulary setting that is already pre-filled with that.
  • But what might happen from time to time, this is an example.
  • I did an interview with someone for their podcast,
  • and on their podcast, they have a name that is not part of my custom vocabulary,
  • because it's not someone from my company,
  • and they have an Indian name that is not easily transcribed by AI by default.
  • Transcription mistakes

  • And so his name is Sri, which is short for a much longer first name that I cannot pronounce, and...
  • What happens is, it might be the first time it was transcribed as SRI,
  • and the same for the name of the podcast.
  • His podcast is Biz Buzz, as in the bees are buzzing,
  • and OneTake AI understood this bus as in mode of transportation.
  • So, if I wanted to fix Biz Buzz through the entire video, I could, right?
  • But it's a half an hour, 15-minute podcast maybe,
  • Replace all occurrences

  • but if it's like a two-hour masterclass, you definitely do not want to be scrolling down and trying to find all of the words that are the same.
  • You don't want to do that.
  • So what you can do is click on the word,
  • and you will notice that there is a little tool here called Replace All Occurrences.
  • When you click this, you can say what this needs to be replaced with.
  • So Biz Buzz is actually Biz Buzz.
  • Apply replacements globally

  • And once you hit that button, I didn't change it manually in the script;
  • I clicked this button that has the shape of a magnifier,
  • and then I said, "This is Biz Buzz,"
  • and I clicked Replace All.
  • And now Biz Buzz will be replaced in the entire transcript everywhere.
  • So this is how you do it.
  • Find projects faster

  • Problem solved.
  • What else did we do since last time?
  • Last time, I also showed that if you are a power user, as you create more projects with OneTake AI, after a while you're going to have a lot.
  • So we added a way for you to easily find your way across many projects by adding filters.
  • So for instance, in my account, this is a better account, and I have 273 projects,
  • but let's say I remember that I made a video in April.
  • I don't have to look for it manually.
  • I can just say, okay, hit the filters button here at the top right,
  • and say I'm looking for a video that I created between, say, March 15th and April 22nd.
  • Advanced filters

  • And so this will narrow down the search,
  • and now I only have my seven projects.
  • I can combine multiple filters,
  • because I can filter by:
  • date created,
  • Project filters

  • by project name or something that's in the video title,
  • or by project type
  • which means is it a video or is it a chat where I use OneTake AI to brainstorm and work on an idea or script?
  • I could say just a chat project;
  • for instance, I have two here,
  • or just the video ones.
  • I can filter by language.
  • Say this was a video in English.
  • Find projects

  • Okay?
  • So now I can find it.
  • And I can also filter by whether I have already generated shorts for this video,
  • which is useful because if you have done several podcasts and you're now generating clips that you want to post on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts,
  • then this is helpful for you to find all the ones where the clips have been done, so you can download and publish them,
  • or find all the ones where you haven't done them yet, so that you can find the ones where you need to do it.
  • Same for translation; has it been translated, yes or no?
  • And there is also a filter for video duration, how long it is,
  • and for the date that the project was last modified.
  • Power-user filters

  • modified.
  • So this is going to be very helpful for you if you are a power user.
  • And another thing that we did last time is optimize the mobile experience for smaller screens,
  • so that if you're editing...
  • And I'm going to see if Zoom gets that.
  • Let's see.
  • If...
  • So this is...
  • I'm on desktop here, so everything shows nicely.
  • Mobile experience

  • But if I were on mobile, my screen would be like this, maybe...
  • And so, all the buttons are now just icons, so that they fit into the space.
  • And the chat here will expand as you type in it.
  • So you can type multiple lines if you want.
  • And then the panel that has all of the manual controls is still here,
  • but there's this little button here.
  • I'm going to zoom in so you can see it.
  • This button, if I click on it, allows me to expand the panel and see it.
  • So, this is a much better experience on mobile.
  • OneTake AI 7.21

  • Now, let's talk about what is new in this new version of OneTake AI.
  • So right now, we are shipping OneTake AI 7.21,
  • and we are rolling it out, starting on Tuesday into your account.
  • First, this is something that came up...
  • when I did the demo last time, which was...
  • Some people reported that...
  • it was a little bit sometimes confusing.
  • If you have a video project and you've made multiple changes and edits to it,
  • OneTake AI by default would show you a preview player of each iteration of the project.
  • Preview clutter

  • So sometimes you've made a bunch of changes.
  • You changed the video style and the colors,
  • and you asked OneTake AI to remove something that was in the video,
  • like cut the whole part where we talk about this person's daughter or whatever.
  • And then you end up with 8, 10, or 12 different players for each version.
  • And then the most recent one is the right one,
  • but it gets confusing because there's just so much going on.
  • And also, it's a bit slower because your computer is like...
  • has 12 two-hour videos in there.
  • So what we did is now only the preview for the most recent version of your video will be shown.
  • Only latest preview

  • So if here I change the thumbnail to neutral,
  • so that I don't look so sad in the video,
  • then da-da-dum, the new version where I changed the thumbnail style,
  • so I removed my face in the foreground,
  • will be shown here.
  • And all of the previous versions are still there,
  • Actions on current version

  • but they are collapsed so that it's easier to locate what is going on, what's the new version of my project.
  • And from here, all the actions that I need to take,
  • so if I'm going to share and publish, of course I'm sharing the up-to-date version of my video.
  • So this is this version.
  • That's why the buttons are right below this version.
  • If I want to create shorts, it will create the shorts from this version.
  • Edit preview workflow

  • If I do translations, it will be from this version as well.
  • And I can also ask OneTake AI to make changes.
  • In which case, it's going to ask me, "Okay, what changes do you want to make?"
  • So, this will be directly in the last edit preview.
  • So this is version seven.
  • The last thing I did is changing the thumbnail style.
  • And it's that version of the project.
  • Compare versions

  • The previous six are still here.
  • I can still see them.
  • So, if I wanted to see the original version, I can still click Show.
  • There's a little button...
  • in the bar saying Show.
  • Or click anywhere in the bar.
  • And I can still see these older versions of the video,
  • and I can still compare the old one versus the up-to-date one.
  • Which means, if for instance, I was testing all the different palettes and I wanted to see, "Okay, is my video better looking with the blue one, the green one, the yellow one?"
  • If I was just testing a bunch of them, I would always see what's the current state of my video, first of all.
  • Restore versions

  • I would always be able to see any previous versions.
  • And also, I'm able to restore any previous versions.
  • So for instance, I created music at some point for this project,
  • so now there's music.
  • But if I want to restore to the version before...
  • So that's the version that has the music for the first time.
  • It says, "Background music changed." This version did not have music, so I could say...
  • Actually, it was better without the music.
  • I'm going to click Restore.
  • And that's the version that will be...
  • History confusion

  • It will take this one.
  • And that's the version that I want to keep.
  • Being able to restore past versions and to undo any changes was already possible.
  • The way you did that in the past is you would click History, and then here, you would be able to say, "Okay, that's the one that I want.
  • The one where I had changed the script, but not changed the thumbnail." So that's this; it was technically possible, but what we found is that for some people, it was a little bit confusing.
  • From the list of the steps in the history to know which one they liked, especially if you did eight changes of testing different volumes for the music, or testing different colors, then you would have a long history that says, "Change the colors to juniper.
  • Change the colors to golden," and you can't remember which is which.
  • So, what you would do is just go and check it out, play that version, so I'll give it a second.
  • Navigate projects

  • I would play it.
  • Okay, great.
  • And I would say, "Okay."
  • "Ah, this is the one that I like," and then I would restore that one.
  • So that's how you can navigate through the project.
  • It makes the interface less cluttered because you no longer have 20 video players in there.
  • Also, it will be more performant because you're not loading 20 versions of your two-hour video, so it's much easier to navigate and use, and it makes things clearer for you.
  • When you're downloading and exporting videos, we've added a progress indicator to show you how far along your export is.
  • So, this is as you're going through this.
  • Export progress

  • So what I did is I made modifications again.
  • So if I said I want to do the audio, then it's going to get prepared to do it, and then it will show me a progress bar as it's doing the export.
  • We've added the possibility as well to download the Shorts directly, and let me share what that means.
  • So OneTake AI can take a long video and turn it into a series of clips, and it picks the clips that are most relevant and have the most potential to be viral.
  • So I'll take a project that I have that has existing Shorts so I can show you.
  • This one, it's an interview in French, but it doesn't matter.
  • We're not going to watch the videos.
  • This was a 90-plus-minute video.
  • I think it's an hour and 35 minutes, and it's interesting content, but it's an hour and 35 minutes, so TikTok is not going to take it.
  • Instagram is not going to take it.
  • Shorts creation

  • So what I would do is click Shorts and ask OneTake AI to create the Shorts from this long video that I have.
  • So I'll give it a second, but I had them...
  • Maybe I did something wrong a second ago because I created a bunch of them.
  • Let me go back and refresh.
  • So what OneTake AI can do...
  • Or let's just create some new ones then.
  • Let's take this podcast and create some new ones.
  • I click Shorts, and then I have the option of either leaving it to OneTake AI to choose what to create or giving additional guidelines.
  • Clickworthiness

  • If I leave it to OneTake AI to choose which segments to pick, OneTake AI is going to analyze my video, and it will pick the segments based on six criteria.
  • Within everything that you said in the video, which segments would have the highest clickworthiness?
  • So,
  • Clickworthiness goes from zero, which is totally uninteresting—nobody would ever click on that on YouTube or social media—to a total clickbait title.
  • Clickworthy content

  • So you can have something in the content if you created a masterclass or did an interview.
  • It is possible that there are some themes in there that are counterintuitive or dramatic enough that it would be very clickworthy to include them in the Shorts for social media.
  • I'll give a random example, and then mention the different criteria.
  • So the first one is clickworthiness. Maybe I'm doing a podcast interview and the guest says, "Well, you know, I think..." and you see something super controversial or something insane.
  • He starts a sentence and says, "Well, I think that men should never start a business."
  • Relevance matters

  • And maybe the guest has this obvious idea about how businesses are bad for the family or whatever.
  • This is clickworthy because it's counterintuitive; it doesn't fit the general intuition of most people that historically a lot of businesses have been started by men. I'm the guy interviewing, and I'm a guy, and I'm an entrepreneur, so what's going on?
  • So this is, okay, high clickworthiness.
  • The second criterion is how relevant it is to the target audience.
  • It is totally possible that something could be clickworthy but not relevant to the target audience.
  • So I could have...
  • Clarity for Shorts

  • So if my guest on my podcast, which mostly talks about entrepreneurship, says, "I think..."
  • nobody should start a business.
  • or even, no man should start a business, or no woman should have.
  • Any of those may be clickworthy, but they're really not relevant to my audience, because the whole point of my content is to help people start a business and grow a business.
  • So, why would I post content that tells them it is the worst idea they could ever do?
  • So, it would not rank super high in terms of relevance.
  • Then, OneTake AI is going to assess everything that is in your video to find things and rate them on clarity.
  • So, if you're going to have a Short for YouTube Shorts or a Reel for Instagram, you want people to watch this 30-second piece of content and understand everything that's going on inside of it.
  • And what happens is, within the context of a longer piece, it's very possible that you would have jargon or elements that have been explained in the longer video, but make no sense if I just watch the Short.
  • So, if I said in my video that, "Well, of course, to increase the CTR of your PPC ad is not everything, because to decrease CPL, you need to have strong ad sent." Well, good luck to anyone watching this.
  • Avoid jargon

  • This is a high-value piece of information, by the way.
  • But if you don't understand any of the jargon, then it doesn't make sense to you, so the clarity is zero.
  • And if we could grab from another piece of the podcast, if we could grab the context for it and say, "Well, CTR is the click-through rate, and then the cost per lead is the CPL, which we want to drive down." But the click-through rate is not everything, because you need to have continuity from the ad to the content, so that people are not lost from the ad to what they are seeing after they clicked.
  • And that's what's really going to improve the costs that you're paying to get a customer.
  • That would be a better sentence to have in the Short, because at least we can understand it, and we could not understand the first one.
  • So, clickworthiness, relevance, clarity, and then the next three are completeness: is this a complete idea encapsulated in 30 seconds?
  • Because you don't want your Short to say, "There are really five keys to happiness.
  • Key number three is solitude." All right.
  • We don't know what came before, and we don't know what came after.
  • It's not super helpful.
  • Edit for completion

  • so completeness is important.
  • You want people to feel like this was actually valuable, that they got some vitamins out of it.
  • Number five is emotional appeal.
  • So, OneTake AI tries to find things that are not just factual information, but emotionally interesting.
  • And number six is the finish.
  • Does the video finish well?
  • Is it clear where we, not just where we were going with this video, but also, we need to be clear; we need to land somewhere with the video and the content?
  • So, when OneTake AI edits the Shorts for you, the main thing that you need to do is to download them to post them on social media.
  • So, what we did is that when they are generated...
  • So I click generate, and I have one, two, three, four, five, six videos.
  • Virality scores

  • You can see that they each have a different virality score.
  • This one is 99.
  • This one is 93.
  • and everything, above 90 is pretty good to be posted.
  • They'd like 85 plus, good to be posted.
  • 75 to 85, you should watch it first to check what's in there.
  • Less than 75, make really sure to watch it, because it might be a little bit incongruous or incomplete, and not ready, for, primetime.
  • So, I have six options to choose from.
  • I can do all of them, and I can click Download Directly here.
  • Simpler downloads

  • before this version, you had to go and edit, and then you'd end up in this, project, the project for the Short.
  • And then on that screen, you would hit Share and Publish.
  • And then on there, you would hit Download.
  • That was too much work, so we decided to make it just easier.
  • And when you are on the original project, you just have the list of Shorts, and then you can download from here.
  • Okay?
  • Now, what if you are not happy with the Shorts that were generated for you?
  • Then, what you would do is, you just click Regenerate the Shorts here.
  • So, I don't know.
  • let's watch one, and then decide what we don't like about it.
  • Choose the story

  • Let's say, "You don't have to-"
  • for the sunrise.
  • So, might as well do it under my own terms, right?
  • So, I decided I would quit.
  • I called my parents, who paid for engineer school.
  • And so, we talked about it for a while, and over that conversation, what came up is, well, I had no idea of what I was going to do.
  • So, I said, "I'm gonna start a business." And then, they asked the question that everybody will ask you if you say, "I'm gonna start a business," which is, "What business?" Was, "I don't know." So, here's what we agreed upon.
  • We agreed that I would have 365 days to really give it a go, start a business, bring me at least as much as what I was earning as Ivy League equivalent, because it's a French system, but Ivy League equivalent engineer by...
  • And so, I was like, "Okay.
  • Regenerate and refine

  • I'm just gonna put a thousand, a thousand, a thousand, a thousand, a thousand, a thousand, one thousand, one thousand, and..."
  • So there is- this is a bit too long.
  • So I'll- say, for instance, I want the shorts to be shorter for this video, and I don't want the story of, when I quit my job.
  • So I would say regenerate and instead of letting one take choose, I could say, I want short, clips, and do not use any of the segments from the story of how I quit my first job, which was, back when I was, just fresh out of school in, 20 years ago
  • So maybe I don't want that story, maybe I have...
  • because, within the podcast, I told many more stories that are more interesting.
  • So I would say that here, I can also, on that screen, choose whether I want to show the virtual cameraman or not, when I'm creating shorts.
  • Virtual cameraman is our feature which frames the right presenter, if you have a video with multiple speakers, for instance, or if the person is moving or not framed well, so that they are framed properly in the, image.
  • So, with this feature now, you can regenerate the shorts and say, "Well, it's a good start, but I want to make things a little bit different." And then click extract viral clips, and it will start regenerating them and picking new clips from the existing video.
  • Which is also a way, that if you have a longer video, you can, milk more content out of it by having one first generation and then giving, different instructions for a, second part of the video and so on and so forth.
  • OneTake 7.21 updates

  • What else is new in One Take 7.21?
  • we made the account settings, way easier to understand.
  • We grouped together all of the, instant editing settings.
  • So I'm gonna show that now.
  • If you go to settings, which is in the left-hand menu, settings, or if you go to, your initial here and then settings, you land on this page and the tab Essential has all of the essential stuff.
  • So custom instructions, I'm gonna talk about that in a second.
  • Custom vocabulary, then all of the defaults.
  • B-roll generation is where One Take adds inside of the video, it inserts automatically, relevant video clips that match what you're talking about, so that it's- the video is more visually interesting.
  • Stutters and mistakes is where One Take automatically detects when you stumbled, were looking for your words, used many filler words maybe, if you're not a, polished, public speaker and makes you sound more professional.
  • By default, I recommend having it on the recommended setting, but you can make it more aggressive.
  • Recommended settings

  • If you make it more aggressive, One Take will also remove what it considers to be off-topic or low value content.
  • What I mean is, you're doing a podcast about business, but then maybe, one of the, interviewees has this personal story about their childhood, if you set One Take to recommend it, the story will be included.
  • If you set the editing to aggressive- too aggressive, One Take will say, "Well, that's completely off-topic compared to what the podcast was about.
  • And so we're gonna take out this segue into, life in the city as a kid and, just stay on topic." Then you can adjust how much text is shown on screen, which is the new super smart, way that One Take does it, so please leave it on recommended.
  • Removing the dead time is when there are silences in the video, long silences, you're hesitating, you're thinking, you're, pulling on your mic or something like that, you can turn it off or customize it as you wish.
  • But the recommended settings works really well.
  • And then gaze correction is where One Take just adjusts your eyes so that it looks like you're always looking at the audience, even though you might have a teleprompter to the sides.
  • Maybe you're reading here, or you might have your teleprompter, on a phone below the camera, so you're looking downwards or above the camera, so you're looking over there.
  • But One Take just brings your eyes back to look in the, center.
  • so this feature and background removal both consume premium editing minutes, because they are extremely compute intensive.
  • Virtual cameraman

  • So you can turn them on to be enabled by default on all your videos, but they will just consume, some credits every time they are used.
  • And then virtual cameraman is one of the features that we are improving in this version of One Take as well.
  • So what is virtual cameraman?
  • Virtual cameraman is a feature that frames and follows the active speaker in your video.
  • it already exists in your account, but it's very experimental yet, because we- found so many, edge cases, that we worked to fix, so that, if you have a video and it's slightly, improperly, framed, then, One Take will know to fix that for you and, adjust.
  • So what is virtual cameraman for?
  • It is for a couple of things.
  • it's the case where the whole video was framed wrong.
  • So it happens sometimes.
  • Framing fixes

  • You're doing a, video and you are, way down.
  • Oh, wait.
  • My webcam is following me, so it doesn't work.
  • So you are like, this.
  • I don't know.
  • Or like that, right?
  • Way down, so it's not good, at all.
  • the other case is you did a video and you moved a lot.
  • So you're, "Uh," you went, "Uh." And so if there was a cameraman with you, they would follow you.
  • Improved framing

  • And so that's what One Take, does.
  • And then, the, last case is you have multiple people in the video and you want each person to be framed, by the camera as they are talking.
  • So that's what the virtual cameraman does.
  • In this new version, OneTake AI is way more precise with following in the frame, and also more subtle.
  • And a little bit more, just better adjusted in terms of editing.
  • So you will see a neat improvement, and I think soon we will be able to remove the experimental label.
  • Custom instructions

  • Another thing that's really cool is custom instructions.
  • We listened to the requests that were made by many members in one of the last few live sessions, where I was explaining that custom instructions are really powerful because you can influence how OneTake AI edits your videos and the choices that are made by giving it the instructions so that it knows what you prefer.
  • So I did this in French here.
  • I'm going to write it in English so you have an example in English.
  • So we made this field able to accept much more text, like 10 pages worth of text, because we wanted to give you this opportunity.
  • So examples of what you can do.
  • B-roll and composition rules

  • You can say, well, when you compose music for me, never use guitars.
  • I don't like guitars, maybe.
  • When adding B-roll, I only want...
  • And then you could say, for instance, your audience is female.
  • Okay, I only want a female protagonist.
  • Okay?
  • This is a business channel.
  • I never want pictures of people's personal lives in the B-roll.
  • Or you could say, well, I want dominant blue colors.
  • when possible.
  • Customize and save settings

  • Right?
  • So in that case, that means that if you are talking about buying a new car, then OneTake AI will prefer inserting an image of a blue new car versus a red one.
  • I would say I could say things like, at the end of my online class videos, I always give a recap of the actions to take now.
  • So I want this recap to be shown as text on the screen in the end.
  • And if you say that, then OneTake AI will tend to end your videos by, instead of having you shown full screen, just having the recap shown full screen in the video.
  • So writing those instructions here and saving them.
  • Don't forget to click Save Changes.
  • Writing those instructions here and saving them will influence all of the settings that you have in this panel here, the Customize Video panel here, like the title, description, the B-roll, the video style, all of that.
  • You can influence it by giving your custom instructions.
  • And then we did a lot of nice, small improvements to OneTake AI.
  • Dark mode explained

  • Previews of previous versions are hidden.
  • I showed that already.
  • OneTake AI now has a dark mode.
  • So to give a little bit of context, not everybody knows what dark mode means.
  • I had a Zoom with one of our investors who uses OneTake AI for her videos for her business, and one of the things she said was, "I spend too much time on computers already, and it is just burning my eyes to use the computer all the time." And she found the secret that all of the engineers and developers found a few years ago, which is that you will make it much easier on your eyes if your computer is in dark mode, meaning, instead of showing black text on a white background, you use light text on a dark background.
  • So it's the opposite.
  • And there have been studies in terms of typography.
  • All of the studies show that if you write a book, your book will be easier to read and more people will read your book if it's printed black on white.
  • That's why all the books that you can buy in a library are all printed black and white.
  • Why dark mode helps

  • It's really hard to find books that are printed white on black.
  • One of the reasons is because it saves the publisher a ton of money on ink.
  • The other reason is just legibility.
  • On a computer screen, it is a little bit different, and it is way more relaxing for people who use the computer for a long time to use dark mode.
  • And so when I do the demos, I tend to have my computer in light mode just so you can see OneTake AI.
  • But now I can have dark mode on in OneTake AI as well.
  • So it will adjust to your system settings, but you can always toggle it manually by clicking your little icon with your initial at the top right, and then you can toggle dark mode.
  • And dark mode basically is a reversed contrast.
  • It's not a complete reversal of all the colors, it's just a reversed contrast for the app.
  • So it is, as you can see, you can just navigate and do everything that you would normally do.
  • Toggle dark mode

  • It does not affect anything inside of your videos.
  • It's not making your videos darker or anything.
  • But it's just, as you work in OneTake AI, it is, for many people, more comfortable, especially for use late in the evening or at night to use dark mode versus light mode.
  • So you can toggle it.
  • Give it a try.
  • If you've never tried dark mode on your computer or browser, you will see a difference if you use computers a lot.
  • And we try to make a strong effort for accessibility in terms of contrast of the text to the background so that, even if your eyes are a little bit tired, you can adjust.
  • And also, we made the interface of OneTake AI zoomable, so you can have it just look bigger if necessary.
  • Flexible music levels

  • This is just a tiny detail, but just making your life easier and making things nicer for you are an important part of how we work.
  • And then.
  • A couple of other items I want to cover.
  • One is, we used to have it that when OneTake AI generates music for your videos, you could only adjust the volume between five preset levels.
  • And I named the presets, which means they had weird names.
  • So the names were like, Completely Silent, Really Subtle, Barely Audible, Quite Strong, and I think the last level was called Blast My Ears.
  • And what we noticed is actually, people that had music in their videos, when they wanted to adjust it, most of the time they wanted a setting that is in the middle between two of our presets.
  • And it was just frustrating that OneTake AI didn't allow you to do that.
  • So it is possible now.
  • So if you have your project, you go to the Customize Video on the top right.
  • Soundtrack and shorts

  • Then you have a menu called Soundtrack, and here you have options: No Music, or Compose a Track for Me, and OneTake AI just does it, or I Want to Direct a Custom Track, which means you can give your own instructions.
  • Then OneTake AI makes the music for you. Here I wrote, doing my French presentation, I asked for something crazy, like an energetic thing.
  • And then, here you can adjust the setting.
  • And instead of just blocking you to the presets, you can go all the way from this is basically silent, to stronger, stronger, stronger, and to the maximum, which is almost full volume for the music.
  • So, which I don't recommend because it will drown out the sound of your voice if you go all the way up.
  • But we are not preventing you from doing any of the settings.
  • So you can just adjust to whatever makes the most sense for your specific video.
  • And then in this version of OneTake AI 7.21, we fixed an issue with the shorts feature.
  • For some long videos, it wasn't working properly, so now this is resolved.
  • And now you can also regenerate shorts for any video.
  • Simpler soundtrack switching

  • So even for videos that you had done before, you can now ask for additional shorts by using this feature.
  • And in the past, switching, which is what I just showed, switching back to a different music track required so many steps.
  • And now you can just toggle this, and now it's recomposing a different track for me.
  • So this is majorly simplified now.
  • So right now, OneTake AI is generating the new track for me.
  • And now I want to share what we are working on.
  • So I explained everything that is new.
  • You will have all of that in your account in the middle of next week.
  • What we are working on now.
  • So B-roll, it is shipped.
  • Publish to platforms

  • You have it.
  • It's in your account.
  • If you have an older account, then it will probably be turned off by default, and you need to turn it on yourself.
  • So just do it.
  • And then we are working on enabling you to publish directly from OneTake AI to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • So here's the goal.
  • Again, I was talking to several of you, and what I heard very loudly is that it's a ton of work if you want to have a video and then post it everywhere.
  • Because OneTake AI edits the video, which is great...
  • And then if you wanted to have the video on your YouTube and your LinkedIn, you would need to go to Share & Publish, export the video, and then wait for it to be ready.
  • And then download it to your computer, and then one day, once it's downloaded, you would go to YouTube, log in, upload, go to LinkedIn, log in, and upload.
  • Easy social publishing

  • It's a lot of work.
  • So what we want to do is instead of this same space here, Share & Publish, you will have the links to share, which are immediately available, the download space as well, and then below this, you will also have Publish to Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and so on.
  • And then if you just click the Facebook button, it will...
  • Like, Facebook will ask, "Do you give OneTake AI permission to post here?" And you say yes, and then OneTake AI will be able to post directly to the page that you select.
  • If you have multiple Facebook pages, you can say, "This one," and it will post there, with the title and description that you want.
  • And you're going to have this pretty soon.
  • I've seen it demoed privately already, so I can't wait to be able to show it to you, and you'll also be able to schedule the content ahead of time.
  • So if you want to have your whole month or quarter's worth of content published in one go, then you'll be able to do that.
  • Another few upcoming things that are in the works and soon to be released are the ability for you to organize your projects into folders and subfolders, which is very helpful if you have multiple courses, a podcast, and coaching programs so that you can have everything really tidy and easy to find.
  • Auto importing content from multiple platforms, video analytics, and the ability to verbally give instructions to OneTake AI.
  • Voice commands and exports

  • So one thing that I was told is it is...
  • Like sometimes you want to brainstorm, and you have lots of instructions to give, and it's a lot of work to type all of that.
  • So you'd prefer to just dictate what you want.
  • So this is coming soon in the interface, so you can just click a button and speak.
  • And then we have been working on making video exports much faster and of higher quality.
  • We'll create more video styles optimized for social media, giving the option to merge multiple videos and to add intros and outros, and batch video uploads with the same parameters.
  • A new teleprompter for mobile, and the feature where OneTake AI will summarize the important points instead of just showing a transcript of what is said.
  • This has been requested a lot, and we'll be able to do that after we do the faster video exports because for weird technical reasons, these two are very well-connected features.
  • So once we have one, we will be able to do the other more easily.
  • And auto-adding the chapters to videos and translating to more languages.
  • Release schedule

  • So we have quite a lot of really cool things coming.
  • Everything that I explained today that is new in OneTake AI 7.21 will be available to you in a few days.
  • So we expect it on May 12, and then for the virtual cameraman, there will be maybe a multi-part fix.
  • We'll see.
  • And then we expect the next version. I will check Pritish's facial expression to see if I'm right by saying this.
  • We expect the next version after this one to be OneTake AI 8.
  • Yeah, that's correct.
  • Yes.
  • I'm so happy to hear that.
  • And so, next time we meet is for OneTake AI 8, where we will have the direct connection to social media platforms, which will be such a lifesaver for you.
  • Workshops and translations

  • So that's the...
  • And maybe a couple of surprises.
  • Yeah.
  • well, that's...
  • We are knocking on wood and all of that stuff.
  • So that's it for all the news about OneTake AI.
  • I'll see you all very soon.
  • We will post the recording of this session as well, and just so you know, I'm doing a series of videos, an online workshop for our French customers in the next couple of weeks.
  • And we are planning to use OneTake AI to translate the videos so we can also share this content with you because I did a survey a few weeks ago to ask how we could help you grow your business.
  • I had many, many answers, very interesting ones to the survey.
  • Thanks and next steps

  • Many people in the experts business, so selling your expertise, either consulting, coaching, online training programs, or using your videos to position yourself as an expert.
  • And there were so many relevant questions that I wanted to address in this workshop, so I'm creating new videos that I will be sharing.
  • Let's give it a couple of weeks because I will do them in French first, and then translate and share.
  • And so yeah, we have some really cool surprises coming for all OneTake AI customers.
  • So again, thank you for your trust, and we are always at OneTake AI delighted to be with you, to be live in the sessions, but also to help you grow your business, and we will keep you informed on everything that's coming with OneTake.
  • So I'll see you very soon.
  • Thanks for attending this session, and this live session will self-destruct in five, four, three, two, one.
  • Bye-bye.
