OneTake 8.5: Speedy Exports & Social Media Magic

  • Welcome to this session of the "Real Time" with OneTake AI.
  • Today, I'm going to show you what is new in this new version, OneTake AI 8.5,
  • and this version will be in your account very soon.
  • First, a quick reminder of everything that was new in OneTake AI 8.4, code-named Dodoria,
  • which was the previous update that I showcased last time.
  • The first change is we now have voice mode,
  • so you can have a back-and-forth voice conversation with OneTake AI to edit your videos and create collateral from the video.
  • Hands-off voice editing

  • So I'll give an example.
  • When you are editing a project with OneTake AI, you can either type your instructions to make changes
  • or click to dictate a message
  • or even start and join voice mode.
  • If you join voice mode, then you can talk to OneTake AI,
  • which will make the changes that you requested,
  • and OneTake AI will reply back verbally so that you can keep editing in a very hands-off way when making your content.
  • Content Calendar

  • In OneTake AI 8.4, we also gave you access to the content calendar,
  • which enables you to see all of your published and scheduled content.
  • So this will be in the left-hand menu here.
  • We can see Content Calendar.
  • And if you open it, which I'm going to do in a new tab,
  • if we open the content calendar,
  • then in there.
  • You get to see the calendar of the content you published.
  • Published vs Scheduled

  • See July.
  • This is not from my main account,
  • so let me just use my main account so we can see it.
  • Let me go to Content Calendar.
  • And you can see the content that has been published directly from OneTake AI to your social media.
  • If it is blue, it means scheduled.
  • If it is yellow, it means published.
  • Publish to socials

  • So you can find the videos that you have already published to:
  • YouTube,
  • Facebook,
  • Instagram,
  • TikTok,
  • and LinkedIn directly from OneTake AI.
  • You can modify a scheduled post directly from the calendar without having to go back to the project.
  • And you can also click to add and schedule a new project from the calendar as well.
  • Shorts simplified

  • OneTake AI also enables you to publish shorts from your long videos in a much simpler way now.
  • I'm going to showcase an example of that.
  • If I have a project, and this is an interview that lasted forty minutes,
  • so OneTake AI generated a lot of shorts for me, about maybe more than twenty.
  • But before this version, you had to go into the individual page of each project in order to publish or export it.
  • Now, from the list directly, if you like these shorts,
  • you can click to download or click to publish directly from there
  • and say, "Well, I want this one to go on Instagram.
  • I want that one to go on Facebook,"
  • Connect social accounts

  • and set the date and time for them to be published there.
  • So it makes the work much faster and easier.
  • And then once OneTake AI has published something to your social media on your behalf,
  • it's easy to find the link to it afterwards.
  • So if you go to your account settings, which is in the left-hand menu, Settings, Social Media,
  • you can connect your social media accounts:
  • Facebook,
  • LinkedIn,
  • TikTok,
  • Account linking and fixes

  • Instagram,
  • YouTube.
  • You can click Connect Account,
  • and then afterwards, all of the content that you have scheduled or published can be found here.
  • And if something has been published, you can find the link and copy it directly from the calendar
  • so that if you start having many video projects, it makes it much easier for you to locate the work that has already been done and is already public.
  • And there were a couple of bug fixes as well in OneTake AI 8.4.
  • In the interview video style, some text was sometimes hidden.
  • This has been fixed.
  • Bug fixes and improvements

  • If you have a lifetime or AppSumo deal,
  • then in previous versions, you could not see the remaining balance of video editing minutes,
  • so this has been fixed.
  • And we had one user that had the situation where instead of a single sentence, you might want to use more than one piece of B-roll,
  • meaning illustration video, to add some movement and energy to the video.
  • And now it's easier to edit that in the editor.
  • And finally, custom color palettes were not being applied to new video uploads for some users,
  • and we have fixed that as well.
  • Faster exports

  • So this is everything that was new last time.
  • But today, I'm going to show you some really cool things that are happening in OneTake AI 8.5,
  • which you will get automatic access to on September 8.
  • So we are going to update everybody's account to the new version on September 8.
  • First of all, faster exports.
  • So we are releasing two new video styles that have much faster video exports.
  • What I mean by that is that once you have edited a video...
  • Let's take this one.
  • Share and publish

  • If you like the video once it's been edited and you want to be able to make use of it,
  • what can you do with it?
  • So you would hit share and publish either here or at the top here.
  • And your choices are either to use a share link
  • so that you can copy this link, give access to someone to this link.
  • They will have a page that hosts the video itself,
  • plus the searchable transcript of the video.
  • Or you can give them access to, just the video itself.
  • Embed on your site

  • You can embed the video into your own website by copying the code here,
  • and then you would- in your video editor just paste the code in there.
  • And now the video is inside of my website.
  • This is the main use.
  • The secondary use is you might want to take the video and then post it to your socials.
  • And so it used to be that in order to post the video to your socials,
  • you would need to download a file from OneTake to your computer
  • and then upload that file to YouTube or Facebook or Instagram and so on.
  • Direct social publishing

  • Now you don't need to do that anymore.
  • We can just click publish and share
  • and share it directly to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or Facebook.
  • and so if you have not connected the account yet, OneTake will prompt you
  • to connect them together.
  • Faster export downloads

  • If it is already connected, then you can just say, "Here's the title, here's the date, and I'm scheduling the post."
  • So the case where you need to download the actual video file is actually not that often,
  • but when that happens, in the current pipeline, it takes a little while for OneTake to generate the file that you can download.
  • But with the new video styles that we are releasing, it is going to be much faster.
  • So here in this section, you would say whether you want the video or the audio format or both,
  • and when you click on it, then it will start generating the file so that you can download it.
  • And this system is now much faster,
  • so you will see that the progress will go much faster than it used to be
  • in order to generate the file that you can then download to your computer.
  • Why we rebuilt exports

  • So this is a change that we had announced for a while,
  • and we apologize for a couple of people have encountered some difficulties generated download links in the last couple of weeks.
  • the metaphor that I used on the call with the French, attendees was basically at some point we decided we're going to...
  • this restaurant needs a new kitchen,
  • so we are building a new super modern kitchen on the side of the existing one.
  • And just at the time that we're building the new one,
  • we are having the old kitchen behave in all kinds of unexpected ways.
  • And now we have to redo the plumbing and the heat and the electricity of it.
  • Short-term friction, long-term gain

  • So it's a bit frustrating because on one side it means that we were right in starting to build the new kitchen,
  • which is the new export system.
  • And on the other hand, we have to spend time like fixing things on the old system,
  • which keeps breaking over the last couple of weeks.
  • So with this new system, exports are going to be much faster and reliable as well,
  • which is always enjoyable.
  • New video styles

  • And I mentioned it a couple of times, this version includes new video styles.
  • They are called influencer and punchline,
  • and they are two video styles that are optimized for social media content.
  • So this video that I was sharing a second ago is using one of these new styles.
  • They are styles that have very dynamic subtitles.
  • I am recording this video so you can see a before and after.
  • You see, OneTake is the world's first AI video editing agent.
  • It turns raw, terrible footage into a professional presentation like this one.
  • So, this is a new style that you can find by going to customize video, video style,
  • Punchline and Influencer

  • and here you have punchline, which is a horizontal style,
  • and influencer, which is a vertical style.
  • So punchline is more suited to YouTube videos,
  • and influencer will be more suited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.
  • Hi, I'm Sébastien Night, founder of OneTake AI.
  • I am recording this video so you can see a before and after.
  • You see, OneTake-
  • Okay, so these two are available and, they give you a lot of customization options.
  • They are also much, more...
  • Vertical safe zone

  • much faster in terms of exporting the video.
  • And one of the things that we noticed when our users were posting videos based on our existing vertical styles,
  • meaning Reel style, this one, and vertical, that one,
  • is that for certain platforms they were not ideal.
  • Sometimes the subtitles would overlap the controls on the Instagram app on some phones
  • or the controls of TikTok on some mobile phones.
  • And so we built the influencer style so that it fits all of the content inside of what is called the safe zone of the video
  • so that it is much more legible and impactful on social media than the previous styles that we offered for vertical videos.
  • You now also have new settings for branding customization.
  • Branding and customization

  • Specifically, you can see and change color and video style preferences for all videos.
  • I'm going to show you this.
  • See here, when I have a video in OneTake AI,
  • I can change the video style.
  • I can say that all of the future videos should use this style.
  • I can do the same with color palette and fonts
  • and say, well, I want to change the colors or customize it,
  • and I can say I want to always use the best colors,
  • or I want to always use these new specific colors, for instance.
  • Settings walkthrough

  • But we didn't have before one page where you could see all of these choices that you've made
  • so that you can change them afterwards.
  • So now, we do have this.
  • So if you go to settings, which is the left-hand menu, you go to branding.
  • In the branding screen, you now have a section called video customization,
  • and this is where you can:
  • add a logo that will persist across all future videos,
  • Set brand defaults

  • select a video style that will be used in all future videos,
  • select branding colors as well as the font,
  • and also how you want the player to look when you place it within your own website.
  • So all of this is available, directly from this screen as well.
  • Embedding and hosting

  • So all of this is inside of the settings page in the branding tab.
  • As I mentioned before, OneTake AI allows you to embed the videos into your own website,
  • and that is because OneTake AI hosts the videos for you, at no extra cost,
  • saving you the need to pay for a Vimeo or Wistia account or anything of that sort,
  • because OneTake AI is hosting the videos on your behalf.
  • OneTake AI hosting

  • This is particularly useful here because if you make changes to the video afterwards,
  • then automatically the video that is on your website will be using this updated version of the video.
  • So I showed a minute ago that I was able to embed the video into my website,
  • but I can also customize how I want it to display inside of the website.
  • So let's pick it as a horizontal video.
  • Player appearance controls

  • If I share and publish, it embeds the player.
  • I now have controls here to customize how I want it to look,
  • and I can change the background that will be shown behind the video.
  • I can change the control bar background.
  • I can change the control bar icon colors,
  • and also I can decide if I want my video to:
  • autoplay,
  • Player behavior options

  • to loop,
  • whether I want to show the full screen button or not,
  • the control bar or not,
  • or the thumbnail or not,
  • and I'm going to explain what that means.
  • Autoplay behavior

  • If you set your video to autoplay, you need to know that it's been like this for a decade on all internet browsers.
  • If the video autoplays, then it will play silently.
  • It will be muted.
  • This is because no internet browser wants to annoy people with a voice that starts playing as soon as they reach a page on a website.
  • So ever since about twenty-thirteen, they've all behaved like this.
  • So you need to know that if you set the video to autoplay...
  • Let's do it, and you copy the code, and I place this in my website.
  • Then now you can see that if I load the page, the video will play,
  • but it is muted.
  • Playback settings

  • I do need to click enable sound.
  • I am recording this video so you can see a before and after.
  • Otherwise, it will not.
  • It will be entirely silent.
  • So you need to know this.
  • This is important.
  • You can decide to loop the video,
  • which means that it comes back to the beginning when it has finished,
  • to show the full screen button or not.
  • Protect your buy button

  • So if you're making a marketing video that you will embed on a sales funnel,
  • sometimes you want to forbid people from putting the video in full screen
  • because you want them to still be able to see the buy button below the video, for instance.
  • And the same for the control bar.
  • On marketing videos, you might want to disable the control bar
  • so that people cannot skim forward just to see the price in the sales video
  • because they need to listen to the whole message before they can decide whether they want to buy or not.
  • Free hosting and embed code

  • And so you get the code here,
  • you can copy the code and use this code.
  • So OneTake AI hosts the videos for free for you if you didn't know,
  • and that's the easiest way to use the videos once they have been edited.
  • So you can choose everything here.
  • Music volume control

  • And then, bug fixes-
  • Sébastien?
  • Yes, Pritish?
  • One thing before we go ahead, just to make sure,
  • is to call out a feature that exists in the new player that was not in the old one,
  • which is the ability to also control the sound of the music.
  • Yes.
  • I don't know if I had music in this video too.
  • Viewer music control

  • Yes, I have.
  • So, something that had been requested is when people are watching the video that you have posted-
  • Hi.
  • they are able to control-
  • I'm Sébastien Night, founder of OneTake AI.
  • I am recording this video so you can see me before editing.
  • Also able to control the volume of the music.
  • Why background music helps

  • This has been requested because in some cases you might have an audience who does better without the music track of the video.
  • In general, just so you know, having a background music track increases the performance of your videos,
  • so it is good to turn it on.
  • OneTake AI will generate a track that fits the mood and rhythm of the video itself.
  • And so it's better to have it turned on by default.
  • But when people watch the video, they are able to control both the volume of the master and the volume of the music,
  • so they can listen to a version of the video without the background music track.
  • YouTube import fixes

  • Thanks for pointing that out, Pritish.
  • And then bug fixes,
  • we had a situation where when people were importing videos from YouTube,
  • sometimes YouTube adds a dubbed track to videos with their quite horrific AI voice.
  • And the problem is, when you import the video into another platform like OneTake AI,
  • YouTube doesn't always say, "Hey, here's...
  • What I'm giving you is not the real original one."
  • So now we have fixed it so that OneTake AI always grabs the original from YouTube,
  • so that when you want to edit and translate inside of OneTake AI, it works from the original,
  • which gives a much better quality result.
  • Visual layout bug fixes

  • There was a quick bug in some scene layouts where images were truncated.
  • When you added images in the video, they would be truncated on the sides.
  • this has been fixed.
  • And specifically in the interview video style, which is used for podcast interviews,
  • there was a slight black line at the top of the video of the speakers for a few days.
  • This has been fixed as well.
  • Roadmap highlights

  • So we've had lots of good news and lots of progress across the last few sessions of OneTake AI.
  • When I'm showcasing the roadmap,
  • we have shipped and made available to you voice mode to be able to have a conversation with OneTake AI in editing the videos.
  • You now have access to the publishing calendar,
  • which was requested during one of the live sessions, the Real Time with OneTake AI,
  • so that you can see all of your scheduled content in one place.
  • We have shipped new video styles optimized for social media
  • and making the video exports much faster.
  • Influencer and Punchline styles

  • So one thing to understand here is that if you export videos that use the new styles,
  • which are called, as I mentioned, Influencer and Punchline.
  • So these are the two styles here, the two new ones.
  • So if you use these two, which have all of these dynamic social media-friendly subtitles,
  • they are the ones that will be the fastest to export as well and to publish on social media.
  • So they will be our current best recommendation.
  • And over the next few updates in OneTake AI,
  • we will upgrade the existing video styles as well so that they are also faster.
  • Upcoming productivity features

  • And then soon you'll have the ability to:
  • organize projects into folders,
  • track video analytics,
  • edit in almost real time via voice,
  • and have OneTake AI import content from Zoom and Dropbox for you.
  • And then the next thing that I'm excited to showcase to you is OneTake AI showing just the key elements of what you say instead of everything word for word.
  • I'll explain that when necessary.
  • And the ability for OneTake AI to export video in multiple formats simultaneously.
  • OneTake AI 8.5 launch

  • We actually have a patent pending in this,
  • so I'll explain it once we get there very soon.
  • So all in all, we have a lot of really cool things coming to you in OneTake AI eight point five.
  • So as a quick reminder, you get access to it on September eight, twenty twenty-six,
  • so in a few days.
  • And you don't have anything to do to get access to it.
  • It will be automatically an upgrade to your existing OneTake AI account.
  • So, the main info here is the new video styles,
  • Paid traffic training

  • and it's gonna be really cool.
  • So, in other good news, I will be sending you, via email, some really helpful information that we got from a paid traffic expert called Damien Plutino,
  • who explained, in a short training, how to take advantage of the new Meta, which means Facebook and Instagram ads system called Andromeda.
  • He did a very detailed explanation, specific to OneTake AI customers,
  • and we are having this translated with OneTake AI and posted to you,
  • and I'll be sending it to you very soon via email,
  • to keep helping you grow your businesses with video,
  • because that's the goal with OneTake AI.
  • See you next session

  • So thanks for attending this session of the Real Time with OneTake AI.
  • I'll see you very soon to showcase the new stuff in OneTake AI eight point six,
  • and I'll talk to you soon.
  • Bye-bye.
