Unleash New Power: OneTake 8.0 Posts Your Videos Everywhere Instantly!

  • Hi, and welcome to this session of The Real Time with OneTake AI.
  • Hi, Alice.
  • This session will be in English today.
  • Uh, I see that you missed the French version, so you're gonna have to follow along.
  • Hi, everyone, and welcome.
  • Today, I'm going to show what is new in OneTake AI eight.
  • OneTake AI eight has been available to all accounts since June fourth.
  • So everything that I'm going to explain today, you already have inside of your OneTake AI account.
  • General Blue Recap

  • And, uh, a very quick reminder of what we did for you in the previous update, which was code-named, uh, General Blue for OneTake AI seven point twenty-one.
  • In OneTake AI seven point twenty-one, the big update was the quick actions.
  • So when you are looking at a project in OneTake AI, I'll show it here.
  • When you're looking at your project, underneath the preview, you have a list of quick actions, which are the main actions you might want to do: make changes, translate it, extract shorts, share and publish, or give feedback.
  • Was this edit perfect, or is there a problem with it?
  • So we made that very, uh, easy to access, and we also simplified.
  • If you have a project where you have done many edits...
  • Let's find one.
  • If you have such a project where you've made many changes, then instead of having a confusing list of all the changes, we are collapsing all of the previous versions so that the only one that is open is the newest version of your project, making it very clear what the current state of your video project is.
  • Share and Publish

  • So that was the change.
  • The second change that we had in OneTake AI seven point twenty-one is that we are showing, um, downloads and shorts in a different way.
  • So first of all, you have one space for all the publish, publication, and share options for the project.
  • So you just click Share and Publish, and you can see that, uh, you have all the options here.
  • You can share for every video that OneTake AI edits a link to a mini site that OneTake AI creates for that specific video, which has the video itself, the key takeaways, and the transcription.
  • So you can get the link here, get the link to the video itself directly, or have the embed code that you can insert into your blog, your CMS, your website.
  • It's also on the same page that you can export the video, the audio, or both.
  • Uh, I'm going to talk about the new thing that is here in a minute, which is you can connect it directly to social media.
  • When you export shorts from a video, OneTake AI now gives you access to the link to download them directly here so that you save time in order to take action with the short clips that you have gotten from OneTake AI.
  • But you can also ask to regenerate.
  • Regenerate for New Angles

  • This is particularly helpful if you have long-form video.
  • Let's say you have a two-hour podcast, and there are two use cases.
  • The first use case is OneTake AI generated a bunch of clips from it, and you downloaded all of them, but you want more.
  • So you might click Regenerate and give new instructions so that you get clips for a different angle.
  • So, um, one cool way would be you could first ask for a bunch of clips that are about the personal story of your interviewee or guest, and then you download the ones you like.
  • And then you ask for new clips from all the segments that have practical advice, and then you download those.
  • And then you ask again for new clips about the mistakes and errors that people should avoid making, so that by asking for a different angle, you're giving OneTake AI the opportunity to look at your video from a fresh eye and give you a different set of shorts that you can publish.
  • The other use case is if OneTake AI generated a bunch of clips from your video, and then you realize, ah, maybe it's a bit off the mark.
  • So let's say you had this interview, and OneTake AI really caught on the controversial elements from the interview, and you listen to them, and you're like, "Ah, maybe I don't want to tell those stories on my social media." So you can say, "Okay, regenerate," and tell OneTake AI, in the custom instructions, you are able to say things like, uh...
  • Well, wait, let me share screen.
  • Account Settings Simplified

  • You're able to say, "Well, I don't want any of the personal stories, so focus on the, uh, how-to advice instead." And then the shorts you will get will be based on this specific instruction.
  • So that was new last time.
  • The next thing that was a big shift in OneTake seven point twenty-one is the, uh, account settings.
  • We streamlined it and put all of the essential stuff on the essential screen.
  • So if you go to your account settings, which you have a menu on the left, Settings. Then the first tab is called Essential, and on this tab, you can see your custom instructions and vocabulary, and all of the editing defaults, and set them the way you like.
  • So for instance, for my account, I have most of the stuff set to the recommended values because it's great.
  • So asking OneTake to generate B-roll, to remove the mistakes and filler words, uh, to, to figure out which amount of text makes the most sense for this moment in the video, and to remove, uh, dead time and silences in the video.
  • So for instance, yesterday, I did a, uh, coaching, like a group class, and I had, uh, uh...
  • I, I spoke for an hour and forty minutes.
  • But because it's a live Zoom session, OneTake removed all of my fumbling around with sharing the screen and thinking about the next point I'm gonna make.
  • Save Editing Time

  • So the source video was an hour forty, but the edited video is an hour seventeen.
  • So when people watch it, they are saving twenty-three minutes of hearing me think.
  • Um, and, uh, apparently, that's, uh, the significance is like one sixth of the time, maybe roughly.
  • Uh, it's, it's significant.
  • So they're saving twenty minutes of silence, of dead silence that's removed by OneTake.
  • So we put all of the most essential settings here.
  • Um, and for my account, for instance, I say B-roll is turned on by default.
  • But when I upload recordings from this session, which I call the real time, or recordings from my Investor Day calls, which are Zoom calls with our investors, or Zoom calls with the high-value experts circle, then I'm saying in my custom instructions, I'm telling OneTake, uh, "Use the presenter only layout, like, and don't add any B-roll." So by doing this, I make it so that I don't necessarily need to do two different...
  • Like, every time I upload a video, I don't need to check and uncheck the box for the B-roll, and check and uncheck the box for the add the subtitles.
  • I just say it once in the, uh, setting so that it's followed, uh, during the, um, video.
  • Customize Your Editing

  • So this is super, uh, helpful and super practical.
  • Um, and then other settings, let me show, are moved to the most relevant screen.
  • Social media, we're gonna talk about it in a minute.
  • Branding is for white label so that you can host your OneTake videos on your own domain.
  • Translation is what type of translation do you want to use, and whether you want to review the translation before it is, uh, recorded.
  • And then the advanced settings, you should not touch it.
  • But the advanced settings are there if you want to change how the audio mastering is done.
  • And notifications is new.
  • I'm going to talk about it in a minute as well.
  • So we have lots of new things related to how to customize editing your videos.
  • Virtual Cameraman & Dark Mode

  • We've improved virtual cameraman, um, so that if you have...
  • One of our French customers were saying in the live demo, she has long form interviews with two people in the shot.
  • And so now when she is doing shorts from those long videos, she can turn on virtual cameraman so that in the short you can see the face just of the person that's speaking, since there's not enough space to put both faces in a vertical video for social media.
  • And then we added a bunch of small improvements.
  • One of them is dark mode.
  • If you use your computer a lot or at night, then it is very soothing for the eyes.
  • Uh, it will automatically turn on if your computer uses dark mode, which is the case of my computer, but I turn it off for my demo.
  • Uh, otherwise, you can click at the top right, your initial, and then dark mode.
  • And so you can get a version of OneTake that is more smo-soothing to the eye, uh, without affecting the videos themselves.
  • It's just the, the display of the app.
  • OneTake 8 Highlights

  • We have better volume control for the, uh, soundtrack.
  • And, uh, as I said before, we are collapsing the previous versions, and we s-solved a bunch of bugs as well.
  • So there was a lot of new stuff in seven point twenty-one, and today I'm going to show you what's new in OneTake eight point zero, code name Frieza, which you already have in your account.
  • So everything I'm gonna show you can use, like, right away, uh, inside of your own account.
  • Um, one second.
  • I'll share screen.
  • For the first big news here is for one thing that we noticed was taking up a lot of time on many users' part, which is you would upload a video to OneTake, OneTake edits it, which is quite fast, but then you have to ask for OneTake to export it.
  • You have to wait.
  • Direct Publishing

  • And then you download to your computer, and you wait more.
  • And then you go to, say, YouTube, and you up-upload it to YouTube, and then you wait again.
  • And then, uh, w-YouTube edits it.
  • Uh, well, not edits it, but, like, encodes it to show it on the page.
  • So a lot of that time was spent waiting, and we figured it would save you so much time if OneTake could connect directly to that YouTube account-To post the video on your behalf, and that's what we are making available in this new version of, uh, OneTake.
  • So I'm going to show that to you.
  • If we take a video in my account...
  • Let's see, this one.
  • So
  • when you have the video, if you hit Share and Publish, outside of the usual ways of sharing the video, which is having a direct link that you can share with people to watch it, and having the ability to download it, you also have the ability here to connect OneTake with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Publish Settings Demo

  • So here I'm going to show we have an account that's already connected to our YouTube and Facebook.
  • So if I say this video, I want to publish it to my YouTube account, I can turn it on for multiple platforms at the same time.
  • I'm going to do it just for YouTube right now.
  • This will be the title of my video, which I can custom.
  • So, uh, I can customize as I want.
  • I can customize the description as well, and I now have two options.
  • Either I'm going to publish this video in the future, so I'm gonna schedule it, and if you set it to the future, then you set it at minimum twenty-four hours in the future.
  • So that will be starting tomorrow at the same time, I can publish it.
  • Or I can s- publish it now.
  • So if I click Publish now, it will just go right now to my YouTube channel.
  • Scheduling and Automation

  • Um, if I set it in the future, I can set it starting tomorrow and with no, like, limits in the future.
  • So that means you can-- if you already recorded a bunch of videos today, you can just program them in OneTake and have them scheduled for next Monday, the Monday after that, three weeks from now, four weeks from now, and then ha- like, have your whole quarter, uh, of videos already ready to go and scheduled to go live on your, uh, channels.
  • Uh, if I hit Publish now, then OneTake is going to upload and publish it to my, uh, YouTube channel and, uh, it will be available there.
  • So I hit Published, and now it's going to be, um, published to OneTake's, uh, YouTube.
  • So if I can show that.
  • It's going to just appear on our YouTube channel.
  • Just it will require a little bit of time for YouTube to receive the file and publish it.
  • So you, you should count a few minutes between when you hit Publish there and when, uh, YouTube actually gets it.
  • So YouTube is actually right now saying it's encoding it.
  • Multi-platform Distribution

  • I'm, I'm in my channel right now, and it is receiving the video as we speak.
  • Okay, so that's the video I had in OneTake.
  • So that saved me a ton of time because I just clicked one button and got it, uh, right away at the destination.
  • If you do this, it will be a huge time saver because first, you can publish it now.
  • Second, you can schedule things in advance so you s- don't have to do the task several times if you already have the videos.
  • But also you're able, depending on your, uh, account level, you're able to connect OneTake to multiple platforms.
  • So you can say, "I want this content to go to YouTube and LinkedIn, and I want the vertical version to go to Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts at the same time." So when you're doing this, if you have not connected your social media yet, then you can click to connect.
  • It will open a page to request the permissions to do so.
  • Uh, I cannot do it with this vertical-- uh, this horizontal video for Instagram and TikTok, for instance.
  • But I'll show you, if you click the button here, it will open a window that asks you, uh, for the permission to connect OneTake with the new tool.
  • Social Media Connections

  • You can also go to your account's Social Media tab, and in there you will find the, uh, options to connect each channel.
  • So you can go there and say, "Okay, I want to connect Instagram," and hit Connect Account, and that opens the request to connect to Instagram.
  • And then once it's connected, you can publish any content as you wish to, uh, OneTake very easily.
  • So that's the key to being able to, uh, unleash publishing all of your content directly from OneTake, uh, into all the platforms.
  • Uh, let's talk about something you might have noticed on the screen while I was demoing.
  • Let's, let's try again so it will be visible.
  • We have added notifications.
  • What are those?
  • So when OneTake finishes a job, what we noticed is if you upload a long video, then OneTake will take some time to edit the video and give it to you.And you might want to just do something else in the meanwhile.
  • Notifications and Workflow

  • So, uh, for instance, yesterday I did a training, and I had three different videos because I had the recording of the Zoom session, and then I mentioned two other videos that I was going to send them.
  • So what I did is I uploaded the first video in OneTake, and then opened a new tab, uploaded a second, uploaded a new tab, uploaded the third.
  • And so, um, OneTake just notified me when the first job was finished so that I didn't have to keep looking at it like, uh, the French people say, uh, uh, like milk on the stove.
  • So it's like you have to check it every time, uh, to make sure that, uh, it's, it's done.
  • So this is a setting that you will find in the account settings.
  • So let's see here.
  • I just asked for an audio download of this, uh, content so that maybe we will see a notification.
  • But I'll go to Settings in the left-hand menu again, and now there's a new tab called Notifications.
  • And in this tab, I am able to customize here, uh, whether I want to be notified in the app or through email for each of those jobs.
  • So I'll explain.
  • Notification Options

  • The first one is, "You uploaded a video."
  • Should OneTake AI send you an email when it's finished editing it?" Um, the second is when OneTake AI has finished translating the video.
  • The third is when OneTake AI has extracted the clips that will be the most viral for social media.
  • The fourth is you ask for downloading a file, so will it tell you when the file is ready?
  • And the last one is when the video is published to, uh, for example, YouTube, Facebook, or LinkedIn, etc.
  • So you're able to adjust per feature and per platform.
  • Live notification demo

  • So for instance, I want to be notified of all of those, but you could, for instance, say, "Well, when I edit the project, I'm there because I'm going to give instructions for more things, so maybe I don't want an email because I will be there anyway.
  • Um, but maybe I do want to be informed when it's published to my YouTube channel because I..." If you schedule them in advance, then three weeks later, when the video is finally published to your YouTube channel because you scheduled it, then maybe you want to get a message, an email that says, "Hey, we just published this, so here's the link on YouTube," just so that you know that you have a new video on your YouTube channel that you didn't know about.
  • Uh, please note that my...
  • I just got a notification here.
  • Uh, this is the download link for the audio of the project I started earlier, and you can see it just popped up at the bottom left of my screen.
  • And I also got an email in my inbox at the same time to tell me that the link is available, and I can click to go download the audio there.
  • So I just clicked, and it opened the download to my computer, and now I have the download done.
  • Um, or here I could click, and I would go to the project here.
  • So as you can see here, it says OneTake AI will notify me when projects are done.
  • Publishing vs embedding

  • So yeah, this is going to just make your life easier as well.
  • I have a question from Alice that asks, "What about Discord or School?" So, um, School, for instance, is not a social media platform, right?
  • So, um, so Alice, to answer your question, um, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, they are social media platforms, so you upload the video there so that people who don't know you can see them.
  • And you cannot embed a video from outside there.
  • You can only upload it so that it is hosted by YouTube; it is hosted by TikTok.
  • But a platform like School, Kajabi, Learnybox, Systeme IO, WordPress, Wix, um, all of these platforms are content management platforms, so this is...
  • You're usually paying for a membership to have a website, but they don't host the content.
  • You usually use a player that comes from outside, and you put it on that page.
  • And so, if you want to use the video in School, what you will do is not a direct publishing link.
  • Embed workflow

  • It will be this.
  • You will say Share and Publish, and you will say Embed the Player, Copy the Code, and you paste the code in School, on that page.
  • It will be the same with all of these platforms.
  • Like private membership site platforms, you will do this: Copy Code and paste the code there so that the player will be shown inside of School.
  • That also means that later, if you translate the video or make changes to the video, then the School platform gets updated automatically, instantly, by OneTake AI, which is something that is not possible with YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
  • Like if you publish a video on social media, then it is there.
  • You cannot touch it later.
  • Uh, well, you can change the settings, but you cannot make edits to the video later.
  • So if I have to translate but I don't want that to move, I have to make a copy of the video before translating to have a new code?
  • Translation Q&A

  • That's my English.
  • You want to translate the video but you don't want what?
  • Can I speak French?
  • Yeah, yeah.
  • Uh, so, so two things to clarify.
  • One is I am not very familiar with Discord, so, uh, I'm going to give the general answer that applies to School and the other platforms.
  • Um, when you translate a video in OneTake AI, the player that people are seeing will show the version that goes for that person.
  • So, um, French people, if you translate a video to English, they will always still see it in French.
  • Automatic language detection

  • It's not going to change it to English for them because when they arrive on the page, the OneTake AI player loads and it sees, okay, I am talking to a computer or a phone that is...
  • that prefers French as a language, so I'm going to play the French version.
  • And, uh, but now if you have an American who came to that page, then OneTake AI would detect, okay, this person is in Washington DC, I...
  • and their browser is set to English, so I'm going to show them the English version.
  • So it doesn't replace it.
  • So that's why, for instance, if you go to our blog on our website of OneTake AI, you will see the content in French even though some of the videos I recorded in English.
  • Uh, but OneTake AI automatically detects, okay, Alice is preferentially a French speaker, so we will show her the French version by default.
  • And of course, the person that's watching can change it and say, "No, actually, I want the other version." But by default, it will show the version that they are already using.
  • like, of the language that they are using.
  • Version 8 improvements

  • Yeah.
  • Um, thank you for your question, Alice.
  • And so in version eight, we also have several small improvements.
  • One is, we have an improvement in how well OneTake AI follows your custom vocabulary to just...
  • We improved the transcription model and the settings so that, if you have custom vocabulary, the...
  • it is more accurately followed.
  • When you create reels and shorts for social media, we have a video style in OneTake AI that is called reel style, and it's used to show a title at the beginning of the video, to show the title of the video in the middle of it.
  • And we got overwhelming feedback from many users that they would prefer for the video to start with the subtitles, but without the main title, like, in the middle of their face.
  • Um, and so we removed that.
  • White label explained

  • So now videos no longer have this title at the beginning.
  • And then we fixed a couple of bugs.
  • Some users were not able to add a white label domain, so this has been fixed.
  • And if you don't know what a white label domain means, it's this.
  • If we look at this video and I wanted to share the link with someone, I don't want to post it on social media, but I would just want to give the link to a client so they can watch it.
  • I would click Share & Publish and click one of those to share links, Video & Transcript or Video Only.
  • But if I use the Video & Transcript link, for instance, I get this, which is a page that OneTake AI created for this video with the transcript, with the video itself.
  • But if we look at the address of the page, it's watch.onetake.ai, and then the address of the video.
  • So what white label enables you to do is to say, "Well, actually, I don't want to show this at all," which is something that you cannot do...
  • For instance, with YouTube, you cannot do that.
  • Domain branding

  • So if you're sharing a YouTube link, then it says youtube.be, and you cannot change it to videos.my website.
  • But here you can.
  • So you could say instead of watch.onetake.ai, I want all of my links to be something like videos.sebastiennight.com.
  • And from now on, if I turn this setting on, then when I create the links, OneTake AI will always put the links with videos.sebastiennight.com, and there will be no mention that it's made with OneTake AI anywhere, so people will not see the OneTake AI brand anywhere, just your own brand and logo everywhere in the video.
  • So let me show you where you set this up.
  • You would just go to Account Settings, which is again on the left-hand menu here, Settings.
  • So I would just click Account Settings, and then I have a tab called Branding, and this is where I would say, well, I want it to be videos.sebastiennight.com, for instance.
  • And then I would save that setting.
  • Uh, let's see.
  • I would go to Save Changes.
  • Connect your domain

  • Uh, Pritish, this is kind of hidden by the chat tool here.
  • You can just click on it once and unclick, and it will disappear.
  • And so I get here, and then I just need to give my web host this one line of setting.
  • So it depends on what you're using.
  • If you're using OVH, One & One, Infomaniak, GoDaddy, or whatever, they all have this setting where you can tell them, videos.mydomainname.com, please connect it to OneTake AI.
  • And so you will not need to pay your web host any additional storage because the video is still stored on OneTake AI servers.
  • But all this does is it connects the address of your website to the OneTake AI video hosting, so that when people hit this address on your website, your web host tells OneTake AI, "This is on you.
  • Deal with it," and then OneTake AI just shows the appropriate page and video on that link.
  • So that's what white label is.
  • And we had some trouble in the last few days just adding new white label domains, and this has been solved.
  • Layout and text fixes

  • There was also a bug for a few people where newer videos were not properly animating the scene layout.
  • So a newer video is a video editing style where you have the presenter and the text next to them.
  • And when you switch to a new scene, when there is a new topic that is being addressed, then usually the presenter might switch.
  • So if I'm on the left and the text is on the right, then we would switch to text on the left and Sébastien Night on the right every time I'm switching to a new topic, so maybe every 30 seconds.
  • Um, there was, for a short time, this would not...
  • was not alternating, so the presenter was always on the same side as the text, and so we have fixed that.
  • And then there was a bug where on some videos there was a tiny sharp black line appearing on the edge of the video or on the bottom of the video at certain screen sizes, so this has been fixed.
  • And there was one bug which I've only seen in one case, so most of you won't even know what that is.
  • But in the case where you had consecutive sentences that had enumerations, like multiple bullet points in twos.
  • Like, it was totally an edge case, but OneTake AI would get a little bit confused and show the text in the wrong order, so this is fixed as well.
  • Publishing & plans

  • So these are all the really cool changes in OneTake AI 8.
  • A quick reminder, this new feature of being able to publish to YouTube directly is available to all accounts, whether you're a starter, occasional, business, AppSumo, or any other plans.
  • And the ability to connect it to multiple platforms at the same time and to schedule in advance is available starting with the Grow plan.
  • So for Grow, Premium Studio, Premium, Scale, Pioneer, Unlimited, and International plans have access to publishing to all platforms.
  • But all plans have access to publishing to YouTube.
  • And then the ability to publish shorts.
  • So every account is able to generate shorts, and then you can download one short if you're on the occasional or AppSumo tiers one to three, or the Launch tier.
  • And if you're on the business or AppSumo tiers four to five, you have access to three shorts per video, and plans that are above that, so Pro, Grow, Premium Studio, Premium, Scale, Pioneer, Unlimited, and International can download an unlimited number of shorts for every video.
  • What we are working on, so we just delivered this much-awaited feature to be able to publish directly to YouTube and to other platforms, so this will save you a ton of time.
  • Upcoming features

  • And now we are working on a new platform for video exports so that we are able to do them much faster.
  • This will also unlock many really cool things that we'll be able to tell you soon about.
  • And what you'll see soon in OneTake AI as well is the ability to verbally give instructions so that you don't need to type the things that you want to change.
  • You're just able to hit the mic and give the instructions or say, "Well, now please give me two blog posts about this," or, "Give me more ideas," things like that.
  • So you will be able to give voice instructions and to organize projects into folders because we are seeing that more and more of you have many videos.
  • And so if you have accounts with lots of videos, that's the case for me; I have 1,137 projects, then it's helpful to be able to organize them.
  • Um, summarizing the text rather than showing most or all of what is said.
  • A smarter and faster OneTake AI agent with more skills.
  • Video analytics are coming soon as well.
  • Exporting the videos in multiple aspect ratios.
  • Batching & formats

  • That is, if you want to have the same video go to multiple platforms, or you want to use a video as an ad, as vertical, square, at the same time.
  • And then the possibility for OneTake AI to predict what you're looking for and do things for you proactively so that you save even more time.
  • And batching video uploads with the same parameters.
  • We have an increasing number of people who say, "Well, in a single day I'm going to record three podcasts or 12 videos for YouTube, so I want OneTake AI to just take all 12 at the same time and understand that they are the same format, so they need to be edited the same way." So, this is also coming soon in OneTake AI.
  • So we have much more that is coming, but these are the closest new things coming to OneTake AI.
  • Available now

  • So everything I showed today is already available to you inside of your account.
  • So please have a look, try it, experiment with it, give us some feedback, pointers, what's working and what's not working.
  • We are really looking forward to learning from your feedback so that we can keep improving.
  • Everything that we do at OneTake AI is to make it easier for you to grow your business, get you the ability to reach more people with your content, your expertise, your videos, your training, your coaching programs.
  • And so you will see some amazing stuff from us coming over the next few weeks and months.
  • So as usual, thank you for being part of the adventure.
  • Secrets of Free Entrepreneurs

  • Um, and I have some more good news to finish this live call.
  • This month, we are going to host an online workshop called The Secrets of Free Entrepreneurs, and I will send the invite in probably about 10 days, probably the week of the 15th of June.
  • Um, this is a free workshop that you can attend, with videos, advice, resources.
  • Um, so this is for all OneTake AI customers.
  • You have free access to it, and I'll send you those resources to help you grow your business and automate your sales.
  • So it's going to be an exciting workshop to do together.
  • Thanks and goodbye

  • So thanks for attending today's session.
  • I will see you live very soon for the next OneTake AI update, and I will see you during the workshop in a few days.
  • So have a fantastic day, morning, evening, night, afternoon, depending on your time zone, and see you very soon.
