Hi, and welcome to this session of the Real Time with OneTake.

Today, I'm here to, uh, bear a lot of good news.

So I'll try to cover them all in order.

everything that I'm going to show today has been live in your main account,

not the beta account that we, created for beta testers, but just the official account since October 23rd.

As a reminder, the last time we did a live demo, for the Real Time was for OneTake 7.6, which was available to beta testers.

And everybody that was in beta had, access to OneTake 7, and everybody else still had OneTake 6 in their account.

Features and Improvements

What was new at the time, last time, was in OneTake 7 you could now create script, brainstorm content, record or import a video, edit, publish, create your marketing collaterals in one single space, which is the conversation with, OneTake itself.

You had, the ability for OneTake to remember your past work, so now this is also rolled out to OneTake in production.

We are still training in each account OneTake to remember all the projects that were created with the previous version.

So, all the projects that you did in OneTake 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and even back when it was still called Nero, uh, we are training inside of the container of your account OneTake so that it knows what was in those projects as well.

And so I'll, do another announcement when that is complete. uh,

we had this thing for a short time where in the past version of OneTake 7, you could only ask for a couple of edits before the AI just, keeled over from having too many things in its memory.

This has been solved since then, so you can do, many more edits and ask for more changes.

And I also demoed last time that we implemented search.

So, once you are...

Let me just share.

Project Management and Search

Once you are inside of OneTake, at the top right of every page you have this little, glass, looking glass icon, or command K if you're on Mac, control K if you are on PC, which you can hit to search your past projects.

And this is very important and useful, because if you're, a power user, as you start to have tens and then dozens and then hundreds of videos, as is the case in my account, it becomes hard to just scroll back through time to find old projects.

So I can just say, "Okay, I remember, I did, um, training session where Victor Damasio gave his advice.

It was quite a while back.

I don't want to go..." I could.

I could just go to projects and go like, "Okay, not these ones, not these ones, not these ones," and go through my 939 OneTake projects until I find it, or I could just remember, okay, Victor Damasio.

I can't remember which A has the accent on the A for I'll just type it without it, because his Brazilian name.

And I'll find it.

Da-nan-an.

It's one of those.

It's this one, which is from 2023.

So, easy, done.

This is a video that was done with...

I- it's, it's from 2023, so before OneTake was even called OneTake.

So don't leave Nero.

It's still there and still, available.

Project Continuation and Editing

So I can find my projects like this, based on the project content, the title, the description.

anything that I remember about my project is enough for me to find it.

And we fixed a bunch of little, bugs and issues, making the video player work much better on mobile, fixing the import of content, importation of content from, Zoom and Google Drive, and fixed audiograms as well, which is what OneTake does when you upload or record directly in the app, just audio, and leave it to OneTake to create a little animation to show something moving as you're talking.

Today what I'm demoing is OneTake 7.8.

So Pritish you need to update the little text at the bottom of the slide, because it says, "Available to beta users and available to all at the end of September." Both are uh, incorrect.

OneTake 7.8 is available to everybody and has been for the last eight days.

And so I think soon we'll do another call where we just, we start from scratch explanation of everything, like, like first steps to OneTake basically.

But I've done it already last month, so I'm just going to share what is new since the last time when I did it.

So either you're watching this as a beta user, which means you had OneTake 7.6 anyway, so now you've seen the new things since that update.

Or you did not sign up to the beta testing program, and, uh, you had OneTake 6....

up until now.

And today everything I'm going to show is completely brand new, because it's a different experience.

So I'll still make sure that what I'm explaining is accessible to you.

New Features and Accessibility

First, every conversation you've had with OneTake chat in the past is now converted into a new project.

So you can still find those conversations, locate them, continue the conversation, um, and have them show up as, uh, projects and conversations with OneTake.

So I'll show that right now.

When you log into OneTake, which you can do on your main account, which is app.one take.ai, I'll send the link in chat, you can see in the list of projects that at the left of each project is a little icon.

You can see that for my projects which I recorded in English, it has a little flag here so we know that these are English language projects, English language projects.

This one is in French.

But some of them has, have this little chat icon, which means they are conversations I've had with the AI without importing content.

So I can find conversations I had in the past, and it's, uh, I brainstorm many things in the past with OneTake chat during demonstration.

I didn't mean to use the word brainstorm apparently.

Let's look for one where I asked about a quiz.

So during one of my live sessions a long time ago, I did a quiz on email marketing principles.

This is still accessible, so, uh, 10 questions I asked, la, la, la.

So it did the questions, and now I'm still able to keep that going.

So I could ask for new things, ask it to write the script.

I'm zoom, I'm gonna zoom in.

Write the script for a video where I will introduce the quiz to customers and, um, include a call to action for them to answer the questions now.

Okay.

Continuing Past Conversations

So even if those conversations date back two years back, you can still continue them.

I'm, I asked for my little script here, and then I can take this and inside of that same conversation, I can, um, record the video here.

So I could use my webcam.

Hey.

I could use the teleprompter.

I can paste the script in there, and I can record it.

Hey there.

So I can do this directly from that conversation, and when I click submit recorded file, OneTake will take that and, um, edit the video for me.

Project Integration and Continuation

So I'm able to continue past conversations, I'm able to find them.

I'm able to use them to create new content, and have the same thing be inside of the same conversation so that I deal with it as one project.

I just want to clarify one thing.

So everything is always chronological in the conversations you're having with OneTake.

So as it's going, just remember you can always scroll as you want.

You can always scroll to see what's new in the conversation at the bottom.

So right now it's just uploading and editing the, uh, part two video I just created.

While it's doing that, I'm gonna show you some other new things.

Content Import and Integration

We've also added additional upload sources.

So OneTake now supports importing content from 10 different sources, which include Google Photos, which we just added.

So as a quick reminder, how do you go about importing content into OneTake?

You'll go here.

Home, or New Project, and you have a list of different sources you can use.

You can import content from your device, which is your computer, or if you're on your phone it will open the phone's, uh, gallery to pick a video.

You can use the camera of the device, so on my computer it would be my webcam.

If you're on the phone it's gonna be the phone camera or the tablet camera.

You can just record audio directly into OneTake.

So if I do this, I can record, uh, the podcast audio interview.

I'll just brainstorm my ideas directly there, and then OneTake will edit that and I can download the edited audio as a podcast, and also a video that OneTake will have generated from that audio that I can use.

I can record and do uh, a screencast, which means basically sharing my, uh, computer window, and I can do that if I want to do, um, live demo or tutorial.

This is the easiest way to do something like that where I can just share the screen of the tool, it's gonna ask me which screen....

Importing from Various Sources

import a pre-recorded file from Google Drive, Google Photos, Dropbox or Zoom.

So for Zoom, if I click on it, it's going to show me my past recordings.

It looks like I've had a Zoom account for 10 years, uh, but I can just go there and click for anything that was in my, uh, cloud recording and find it easily.

If you click on the...

wait, I have too many things open.

If you click on the Google Photos, Google Drive, Dropbox, it's gonna just tell you to authenticate with that, uh, tool.

So when you click connect with Google Photos, uh, you will be able to import there.

I think Pritish you should be able to do a quick demo of the Google Photos.

Mm-hmm.

Okay, so I'll let you do that.

You, um, sorry.

Yeah.

So as you click Google Photos, it will ask you to sign in, uh, to your Google account if you have already not signed into your Google account earlier. uh,

Uh, once you do this, um, I'll also quickly show you my Google photos that already exist.

Google Photos Integration

So I have uh, a video here available, um, which I recorded earlier during the days for this demo.

And yeah, so once I click on Google Photos, because I'm logged in, um, it will open this tab where it shows all the photos and videos that are available in your account.

You need to click on select, and then on the top right corner, there is a done button.

So once you do that, uh, OneTake has now ac- got access to this particular file.

You can close this tab and you will see that, uh, the video is now, uh, being imported.

One quick reminder is that because of how the Google integration works, uh, you should have at least used Google Photos once earlier on your browser.

So that would enable you to access, uh, Google Photos through OneTake.

Otherwise, it shows you a loop where you're trying to sign in, and then it shows that you're signed in, but nothing happens.

Uh, do not, uh, worry.

It's not a bug or, uh, it's not that OneTake is not able to access, it's just how the Google integration works.

So you should have signed in and used your Google Photos with the, with your Google account that you already have.

And as you can see, uh, the video has started transcribing, and now it's imported and works as any other import.

Um, so now you're able to import from many different sources, and over time we'll make it possible to automate from more sources, because as a reminder, you can already now, um, tell OneTake that you want to automate it watching a YouTube channel and auto importing when a new video is on that channel.

Automation and Future Plans

So for example, if you have an English YouTube channel, you can tell OneTake monetary and, uh, translate my content to en- to French or Spanish once, um, it's uploaded.

Project Editing and Upgrades

We also improved project editing.

So as I mentioned earlier, we just upgraded all of your accounts, every single account.

Whatever level of subscription you had, we just upgraded it to OneTake 7.

That means that you had projects in that account before most likely, and they were created with older versions of OneTake, like in the past.

So how does it work now?

I'd like to show you how you can see those projects that you had created in legacy versions of OneTake, and how you can edit them with the new version of OneTake.

So let me just go back to, uh, sharing screen.

If I go to my projects, as you remember, I have like hundreds, 939. uh,

Um, some of those were created before OneTake 7 was a thing, and you can see that they each have this tiny padlock to the left of them saying made in OneTake 6.

Why do they have this, uh, padlock, and what can you do with these projects?

Legacy Projects and Updates

So first thing to understand that's important is that we always want to make sure that any link use, you use to share your video with customers, clients, um, team members is going to remain a valid if they watch this video in the future.

And also if you've embedded the podcast or the video into your website, if you embedded it into your, um, training website, that this video will keep playing as well in the future.

So that's why everything that was done before we updated to OneTake, uh, 7 is still there.

So you have nothing to change or edit there.

If you used the share link and you sent that link last week to someone and saying, "Hey, here's the recording of our call, I just edited it with this amazing AI tool called OneTake," um, then the link you shared with them is still going to be the same link.

It's still gonna work if you click on this....

this, uh, link with the video on it is still going to work.

It's going to show the French version because my browser is in French and this video has been translated.

We have the French version.

It still has the transcript and the, uh, uh, key, uh, highlights, and I can still switch to English.

So this project is still exactly as it was before, and still functional, still working, and the people I shared the link with can still watch it.

However, if I wanted to make further edits, then I'm able to update the project to reopen it in the new and improved version of OneTake.

Project Conversion and Benefits

So, what that means is you will then have the original one, still with the same link and still embedded on your website or whatever, and then the new version of OneTake, our new AI, will take the original, like- like, the source video file, and re-edit it with its new c- uh, capabilities so that you can work on it as a, uh, new project.

That means that all the past projects you've had, if you convert them to OneTake 7, um, will be re-edited with the new capacities, ex- especially, um, if there were many mistakes that you made while speaking, um, hesitations, things like that.

Our agent is now much better at removing those and unwanted silences, so you will probably get an even better result once that happens.

So when you click update this project, it doesn't just duplicate or copy whatever you had edited,

it re-edits them with its new abilities.

This has, um, several consequences, advantages, and one drawback.

Consequences is, if you click that button, update the project, you will now have two versions of this video,

the old one, which is never gonna be...

Like, it's not gonna be touched because we still want it work if you shared the link,

and the new one, which is going to be, uh, which you can edit with the agent.

That's one consequence.

And then we, we realized, okay, but what happens...

Like, depending on the account that you have, you will be limited by how many videos you have, uh, you are able to edit per month

or how much, um, uh, volume of video you can do per month.

Let's say, for example, my account allows me to edit two hours of videos a month,

and if I, uh, update this project, this video is an hour 12, um, wha- what happens if I try to migrate several old projects?

So, what we've decided to do is we are incurring the cost of doing that without, uh, charging you any additional minutes or hours of processing when you re-edit the videos in OneTake 7,

which means, uh, you, you want...

In my example here, I, I, if I click the button, my account will not be billed for the one hour of editing that is done again on this project.

So this will make your life much simpler.

Cost-Free Project Updates

You don't have to, like, balance the trade-offs of do I do this or not?

You can just do it and not be worried about anything.

Applying our company-wide, uh, principle of, uh, being cool.

Ooh, really cool.

Um, so you can just do this.

So that's the, uh, good news. uh,

Um, one possible drawback would be if, if last month or last year, I spent a lot of time maybe, like, like, this is an interview I did with Siegfried Katzmoser, okay?

Let's say, uh, let's imagine that maybe Siegfried's name, uh, uh, was not transcribed properly the first time,

so maybe last year I spent a lot of time in the advanced editor ch- uh, manually reviewing the entire transcript to change Siegfried's name everywhere.

When I'm gonna click update the project, since OneTake will just start from the raw original file and edit it again, it's not gonna see that I changed one sentence in the middle, whatever.

It's just gonna start from scratch.

So, one possible drawback is, um, if you had a lot of time making specific changes in the old version, they might not be taken into account in the new version of that same video.

However, what you gain from migrating this into OneTake 7 is that now this will be done with the, uh, agent version of OneTake

where, if I had to make those changes, like for instance, Siegfried's name, I want to change how it's spelled throughout the entire one hour of video, instead of having to do it like I did up until last month, manually through the entire transcript,

now I will just write one sentence and say, um, "Actually, please spell Siegfried, uh, differently throughout the video," uh, and then write, uh, I don't know, a buttery taste.

If I, if I said that, it would be able to just do this.

Like, it...

The, the whole experience of working with OneTake since version 7 is you're now working with the video editor just like you would work with the video guy.

So you would just send a message and say, "Hey, you know this huge amount of work?"...

do it.

And it will do it instead of you having to expend all of that, uh, energy.

Project Preservation and Editing

So, recap, all your previous projects are still here.

All the links to them are still exactly the same links. uh,

Um, y- you can't modify them with the old tools anymore, but you can use the new tools to modify them.

And one last thing is, when you open the old project, so this is the one that I opened, you can see it says, "A newer version exists," so I can access it.

Um, I can still get the share link for the old project.

I can still export the old project to a download link of the video or the audio.

Okay, so all of your content is still there.

New Features and Enhancements

So, what else is new in this new amazing version of One Take?

Lots of little things.

We have revamped the, um, display of the recent projects section, so you can now copy the share links of recent projects from the homepage, so I'll show that.

When you go to Home, when you just logged in, we're showing you the most recent project that you've worked on, just t- to help you save time. uh,

Um, and so you're able to click this little link here to copy.

When you click that, you- you're copying the share link.

So, I just did this video today, right, Mastering Your Email Marketing Skills, which I created based on the, uh, quiz, okay?

So if I just click here, it will say, "Link copied," and I can paste the link.

This is the share link to that video.

So it just saves me time, so I can find the project that I most recently have, uh, created.

The alternative is I can go to View All, and then view all of my projects, and then locate the specific one about the email mastering quiz, and over here, I can click to copy link here.

Click three little dots, copy link.

Or I can click on the project itself, and then here hit Share at the top, and copy the link here, with or without the transcription.

Project Organization and Search

But now what happens if you have uh, a seemingly infinite list of projects, which is the care of mine, right?

This is the case here in my account.

I have 900 or so videos.

So, we are trying to make it even easier for you to locate, uh, projects.

So, because we know that you create an ever-increasing number of videos.

So once you are on the project page, you can search for past projects, as I said before.

So I can search for, um, the content I did with Siegfried Camosio, and it will show my two projects that I created earlier.

I can filter and say, "I only want to see the projects where I have created Shorts," for instance.

So, "Include the short" is yes.

So, if I just want to see the videos for which I have created Shorts for my social media, I can just look at them really easily like this, and then click here to get the Shorts for that video.

And this also includes all of your older projects.

If you had created Shorts for all the videos or translated them, then we also made sure that these translations are still there, that these Shorts are also there, so that, um, you- you're not- you didn't lose any content when we upgraded you to One Take 7.0.

If I wanted to do the opposite and say, "Well, usually when I create a video for my YouTube, I also create Shorts for it.

Now, um, I just want to see which videos I haven't done this for yet." So I could say, "Filter, includes a Short." Uh, no, does not.

So this will show me all of the videos that don't have Shorts associated to them.

And the other filter we've added is, you can also filter to get the contents that have the video processing completed, which will show all of my video content.

All video processing is still pending, which means these are projects that don't ha- have a video, or audio in them yet.

What are those projects?

They have the chat conversations.

So, if you used, um, One Take to brainstorm ideas, but you have not yet, uh, created or uploaded the video in there, then these conversations are there, and you can still add the video content there in the same space.

But you- you're able to find them more easily.

That's what we wanted.

Content Preservation and User Experience

Um, I see in the chat uh, a comment from Peter that says, "Clearly, you are taking care of honoring our past work while allowing for edits." Yes, exactly. uh,

Um, for us, every- any video that you have created in the past, uh, is sacred because we know that so many people use the player to embed the video on their blog or their website, or, um, when you have the- a master class, coaching replay, a, uh, a whole course, it's so much easier to embed the player......

on your website or private membership or the blog.

So we want to make sure that this content remains available even when we keep making updates to One Take and that it's not lost.

Otherwise, um, we would be creating more work for you, which is like, "Hey, now you have to update all- all the pages on your blog." Um, and nobody likes to do that.

A f- a few years ago, I think YouTube did something like that.

Just once it happened where they changed the way you embedded YouTube videos on your website, and it was so frustrating because I had a website that had like a hundred YouTube videos on it, um, that we were doing every- every week.

And it was... uh,

Um, I personally wanted to, uh, have a- uh, a one-on-one conversation with whatever engineer at YouTube had that idea.

It was a- a very long time when they were a very young company.

And so since I don't want anyone to want to show up at my house to tell me what they are thinking about having to change the codes on their entire blog, I just want to make sure that it just works for everyone.

A couple of q- of quick reminders.

Beta Accounts and Transition

So first, if you had a beta testing account, th- that server is gonna go away because now One Take 7 is in production, means it's, uh, shipped and delivered to everybody.

Everyone has ac- has access on their main account.

So all of the testing accounts that we had created, um, are going to go away.

That means that if you have content there that you haven't downloaded yet, you still have about a week from when I'm speaking, so until Sunday, November 9th, end of day, uh, um...

Well, everybody has a different end of day.

Preetish, you need to- to add the time zone when you say that. uh,

Um, because we are a Singapore company, so end of day in Singapore is not even...

Nobody's awake in California yet. uh,

Um, but let's say end of day for the last people in the world, well, the day ends...

Who is that?

Hawaii, maybe? uh,

Uh, French New Caledonia maybe, I think are the last people.

Beta Account Deadline

So, uh, s- some, uh, native Maori somewhere, uh, is going to be the last person to have access to a beta account on November 9th.

But if you want to download your content, please do so before, uh, um...

I was going to say Moana, but that's the French name of her.

What's- what's the name of her in- in the American, uh, cartoons?

I don't know.

You know the ones with The Rock and the girl that has, like, powers with the ocean?

The Disney movie.

Okay.

Preetish is like, "I do not watch Disney movies.

I have no idea what you're talking about." Okay.

So anyway, they- they changed the name of the characters for French versions.

So we always sound strange to Americans when we talk about things, and they're like, "Are you talking about the French rip-off of this very famous thing?" No.

Shorts Editing Limitations

So current limitations very quickly.

When you create Shorts, um, you can still chat with One Take to make edits.

But it's, at the moment, only capable of editing the title, the video style, and the color palette of those, uh, Short videos.

It can do all the edits on the original, but for the Shorts, it still is, uh, limited in what it can do.

Um, and I googled it as I was speaking, and so w- there is what we call Vaiana in French, with which is the Polynesian, uh, hero, is, I think, uh, in English, Moana, M-O-N-A-N-A.

And so that's why everybody doesn't understand why we have different characters.

Performance Recommendations

For the best performance, we recommend opening One Take in just one browser tab.

So at the moment, we will fix that soon.

But at the moment, um, if you open One Take in a bunch of tabs, like I do sometimes when I do my demos, sometimes it can get its, uh, wires crossed, uh, over, like, where are you doing the edit right now?

Um, so you get best performance i- when having it in just one tab.

And, um, yeah, I am so excited basically.

Session Summary and Future Updates

This today is- is- is a short session just to let you know that One Take 7 is available in all accounts.

Uh, you can do, um, use all the features.

And in a few weeks, we will be updated several o- of the features that we have shown in beta or just were teased but you didn't have access to yet.

So those features are multi-speaker translation, so being able to translate videos that have more than one voice.

Let's say you have a podcast interview, it's not just you. uh,

Um, background remove, so removing whatever's behind me and putting something else, uh, instead.

Uh, gaze correction, so you're looking here to read your teleprompter but we make your eyes look to the camera to make it more natural to the viewer.

And for these features, so to be, just to be very clear, um, we haven't yet fully decided, uh, their pricing because they are much more expensive to us.

But- but s- since we're gonna have them available soon, what we have planned to do is just to make them available, um, for all accounts.

So you can test drive it, give your feedback since many people have, uh, asked them for a while.

So we'll just make them available at the beginning.And then, uh, um, and then, yeah.

Unified Platform Strategy

From now on, we will no longer have two different environments or two versions of one take in the universe at the same time.

We'll just have the one and then keep doing as we, uh, have always done before, which is every two weeks or so, you get the update automatically.

You get some new amazing capabilities, um, added to your account.

Now I'm a f- I'm a French Canadian, but I wanted to see what the translation into my language would look like. uh,

Um, the French voice didn't sound much like me.

So my, my first question is, is there a way to train the software to reproduce my voice or our voice better?

And number two, the French came out as Parisian French in the translation.

Is there a way for me to choose, when tr- uh, choosing to translate, choose Canadian or Quebec French?

Voice Translation and Future Features

So, um, right now, before we roll out, um, multi-speaker translation, which is coming soon, before we roll that out, we currently have uh, a process where you record your own voice and that's what's used for all translations.

So the reason why I'm asking for the share link is so I can try to locate-

Multi-Speaker Translation Benefits

So I think when we roll out multi-speaker translation, it will be more accurate in two ways, uh, for, for your use case. uh,

Um, one is, so the way, uh, we've, uh, currently done the transition so far was you would create a voice sample that would be used, uh, and it's used for all of your, uh, content.

Two issues with that.

One is, of course, when you're, uh, like Eric and you have two people in the podcast, then both people have the same voice, which is problematic.

Um, but the second is, it is less topical to the video.

So if I do a video where I'm more, uh, excited, uh, versus a video where my voice is rough because I'm very emotional, in the transition I will still have the same voice as back in March 2024 when I recorded my voice sample.

And so there is, there's gonna be a divergence, a divergence, yeah, between, um, video I've recorded today and how it sounds when it's translated. uh,

Um, with multi-speaker translation, what we do is we, as the reference, we use the voice in that video.

So it will be closer to how you spoke in that video in terms of both, um, tone, uh, probably emotion or quality of the voice I will say.

Uh, so I think it will be much closer.

Is that a new feature?

It's a new feature, um, and we're just testing it and we'll, you'll soon have it on all accounts.

Um, so, so it's already, like in my account I have a secret checkbox that I can check because, uh, uh, uh, Vlad, my co-founder, said...

When you take my English video translated to French, and your English video translated to French, what happens then, the best way to explain it is OneTake instead of s- instead of saying, uh, "Uh, Peter sounds Canadian, so he's gonna speak like a French Canadian, and Sebastian speaking English sounds like a French person, so his, uh, French video will sound, uh, like a French person." Kind of doesn't, does not work like that.

The closest way to explain it is, in the universe of how the AI interprets your voice, your English is great, and, uh, so it feels to the AI...

I'm trying to explain it very simple way.

It feels like you speak like a native, uh, of the core language, so when it translates to French, it, it, it says, "If you were a French person, you might be a, uh, a Paris, a Parisian and not someone from Quebec." And for me, it's the opposite.

So when I record a video in English and ask OneTake to translate it, it basically analyzes it as, "Huh.

You've got a fairly strong accent, uh, in your English.

You sound very French.

So if you were born as a French speaker, you would really be uh, a Canadian.

Translation Limitations and AI Challenges

Like, you would not be from Paris." And so it's the same, if you translated you to Spanish, I'm fairly sure what would happen is you would sound like someone from Madrid, Spain, whereas I have had the feedback that when I translate my videos to Spanish, I sound like I'm from Columbia.

And so, uh, th- uh, it's, it's not determined.

It's really determined by some attributes that are basically hidden in your speech in the original language that so far, um, nobody...

As much as I know, in, in the AI space, nobody has yet figured out, um, how do we remove those attributes and add a different attribute, uh, in the, at the moment of translation.

Uh, so this is still an open problem.

Well, I, wh- I don't want to have to make an English video, uh, speaking like this.

I don't speak English very many, but I do the best I are.
