• We also allowed you to edit and save your preferences for the video details because One Take writes the description and title of your videos automatically and you can tell it what kind of format you like.

Exploring the New Interface

• You can use the camera.

Recording Features

• You can also record audio directly into one take.

• If you record just the audio, one take will be able to edit it, improve the sound, remove the background noises, remove awkward silences and mistakes.
• And it will give you as the output both an audio file which you can use as a podcast, and also a video. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So to make the video, it will basically turn it into a PowerPoint style presentation with titles and the key points of what you're saying.
• So you just hit the record button.

Importing Content

• Or if you've already recorded your content, video or audio, you can import it from your Google Drive from a link if you have the direct link to the video file.
• So this is not importing from a web page, like it's a link to an MP4 file or MOV file that's hosted somewhere. trim-silence-between-words
• It's not a Link to like news.yahoo.com to import the latest news from Yahoo Video.
• That's not how it works.
• Or you can import from YouTube which is super useful.
• You can just paste a link from either your channel or any other YouTube channel, as long as the video is public or unlisted, not private.
• And for instance, I use this feature when somebody interviews me for a podcast and they post the recorded interview to their YouTube channel.
• And if I don't have the recording, then I can just take the link, put it inside one Take.
• One Take will grab that video, edit it for me, and then provide me with the new, newly edited video for me to use.
• So I do that so that I can post the podcast on my website, for instance, or translate it to another language.

Importing from Various Platforms

• So you can import from YouTube, you can import from Dropbox and also from Zoom.
• Why is that useful?
• Because if you frequently do live coaching calls or group coaching calls, then clicking the Zoom button and integrating one Take with your Zoom account allows you one Take to grab the Zoom recording. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• And so you could be just done with your coaching call, tell one Take to grab the recording, edit it, and have the edited replay available within minutes to provide to your attendees or your customers. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Importing from Your Device

• And finally, it's the most used option, but I'm explaining it last year so you know what it's for is I can click my device and import the video from my computer.
• If I'm on the phone and I hit my device, it will import the video from the camera wall of that computer. trim-silence-between-words
• so go there, I'll select my video, and then it will upload the video to one Take servers so that we can edit it. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• So let's do that.

Editing and Transcription

• And here I'm what I need to do basically is to click this button, which is called the magic button, transcribe and edit this video for me. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

• Then you check it out.
• You make sure that it's perfect, exactly like you want.
• The right colors, the right kind of transitions, the logo, the music, everything is exactly as you like it, and then you translate it. trim-silence-between-words

Translation Options

• So by doing that, you know that the transcription, the translation, sorry, is the exact translation of the exact perfectly edited video, just like you wanted it.
• Or if you upload and then ask right away for a translation, then you save time because you don't have to review the video before it's translated, but it will translate whatever first result it got out of editing. trim-silence-between-words
• So you lose a bit of the control.
• You save time, but you lose a bit of control.
• So I'll just tell you that most of our users tend to first do the magic button and then check out the video once it's edited and then translate.

Automated Video Editing

Previewing Edited Videos

• What can I do with it?
• First of all, I can watch it so I can preview if it's like I want it.

Publishing Options

• Option one, let's say I want to publish this video in YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Vimeo. trim-silence-between-words
• I need to export the videos so that I can import it into those platforms.

• What you will see is this.
• You can request a downloadable MP4, which is a video, or MP3, which is the audio.
• So you can get it as an audio podcast for Spotify, Google Play, Apple Podcasts and itunes and so on. trim-silence-between-words

• When you ask for it to be exported, it's going to create the download links and email them to you so you don't have to stay in front of the screen waiting for it.
• To be done with exporting it, you will just get it through email and get a notification when it's done. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So that's my first option if my video is going to be hosted on social media.

Video Hosting and Sharing

• If I want to share my video with people without having to deal with the hassle of posting it on a new platform, One Take hosts the video for me.
• So instead of exporting it, putting it on YouTube as an unlisted video, copying the link, showing that I can just click share. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And one Take creates automatically a mini website for every single video of yours.
• And you can copy the link to that.
• And on this mini page that it creates for every single video that you do, it will have the video itself.
• so I need to change something because while I was doing the demo to my French users, I set my computer to Italian. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Mini Website for Videos

• So this is a great feature because it allows you to instantly have a link that you can share with people to watch your video. trim-silence-between-words
• And you can choose to share it with or without the transcription.

• Or you could choose to share the video by putting it inside of your own website or blog, which is what I did with this specific one.
• On our blog.
• For One Takes Blog, I put an article and the video is inside of the article.
• So to get to do that, I just used the share button.
• And then this code, I don't need to understand how it works, I just need to copy it.
• I just click the copy to clipboard button and and then on my blog tool, whether it's WordPress, Wix, Webflow, what are the others? trim-silence-between-words
• ClickFunnels, System IO, all of those allow you to just paste the code.
• And then magically, when you paste it, the video player will be shown at inside of the blog.
• So once One Take has edited my video, I have these two options to share it.

Translation Features

• Now, I said earlier that it's possible to use translations.
• So if I click the translation button.
• If your account has translation.
• Because it depends on what tier you are on and what subscription you have.
• If you're a subscriber, then you can ask for a new translation here.

• A few weeks ago, I translated this content into French, Spanish, Portuguese and so on.

• What it does is basically it analyzes what you're saying in the video.
• What are the themes, what's important, what's interesting, controversial, what could go viral and assembles shorts on those topics. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Or you could add specific instructions, like custom instructions.
• And I'll give a simple concrete example.
• Let's say that you want to.
• You have a long interview and your guest was talking about health.
• That's the topic of your podcast, literally.
• And they went on a long political rant that you don't think might be great for your social media.
• It's like it's their opinion.

Previewing and Editing Shorts

• Each one has a virality score.
• This one has 89, 89, 89, 88, 82, 75.

• Personally, the way I organize my projects is I put the dates in front and then something that I will remember what it is.
• But I've seen people do things like year followed by type of video.

• And then the theme is the blackout.

• Right?
• It's just so that later when they have 50 projects they are able to easily find which one again was presented by Sebastian and which one was presented by Tony.

Video Attribution and Description

• So it, it does its best to identify who's talking in this video so that even if on your one take account you upload the video from a guest speaker, it's trying to identify who's that guest speaker to correctly write the right autonomy. trim-silence-between-words
• And then the description is a description that you can use for instance on YouTube or whatever platform you share. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Now with all of those settings that I'm going to explain now, we don't want you to have to make the same changes always, ever and ever again, right? trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• So let's say for instance, that I want my video instead of saying Sebastian Knight, I want it to be Sebastian, all caps. trim-silence-between-words
• And it's the third time and I'm tired of changing it every time.
• So there's this thing where you can check, always do this.
• You can check, always write my project details in this style.
• So if you have a specific style with the description and you like your emojis and you always have your Instagram link in there and you check that, then your once one take edits future videos, it will add the emojis on the Instagram link as well.
• If you just change the project name, which is what I was saying earlier, and you put like a video type and speaker name and theme.
• Then if you check this box, always write it like that.
• Then it will write the future ones like that as well.
• So that you don't have to do manual edits again and again. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Customizing Video Thumbnails

• Now the poster.
• The poster is what other people call the thumbnail.
• So that's what we are seeing here.
• Before the video plays, you can change it by default.
• The default is dynamic, which means presenter in the foreground with a parallax effect.

Using Custom Thumbnails

• You took the time to make your custom background with all the information already on canva or something.
• So you have the option by taking the audacious setting which is your image and nothing else.

Thumbnail Settings

Video Style and Layout

• I can change the style separately from changing the colors.
• A style is the layout of the video. trim-silence-between-words
• Is it vertical, horizontal or square?

Changing Video Style

• So if I go here and click video style, I can select from many of those and if I change it to say vertical, then my video will still have the same color scheme. trim-silence-between-words
• But now it's no longer a YouTube style.

• Format of presentation is going to be vertical.

Font Customization

• So a primary font is the one for the main text and secondary font is the one for the title.

• One of the best examples is I have a long time customer of one take.

• So his request was, my people cannot see the really tiny text that one take sometimes adds to my videos.
• So I need the text to be larger.
• Because on a phone in the sun, when you're 75 and trying to focus on the sport, that's not going to work.
• So you have options.
• And you can increase the font size to large, extra large, or what we've called massively humongous, or you can decrease the font size to smaller, extra small, or the tiniest one, which we called ophthalmology test.

Adjusting Font Size

• However, when you embed a one take video on your website, the one take player, which is this, acts just like the YouTube player. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

• There's a one take logo here.
• And if you were using YouTube to watch your video, you would have a YouTube logo showing up there.
• What we allow you to do that YouTube does not allow you to do is you can replace that logo by going into here, splash screen and logo and you can upload your own.

Adding Custom Logos

• So if you click here, you can either take it from your computer if you have it there, or from a link.
• So one easy way to do that is you just like get the link from your website.

• I just went to her website, found the logo, right click on it and open the image in a new tab so I could take the link, right? trim-silence-between-words

• so I have the logo here and now I'm going to have this logo in the video and the logo is going to be shown in two places.
• First when I hit play, instead of made with one take, it's going to just have the blackout.
• Then at the top left of the video is going to have the logo as well.
• I recommend having a logo with a transparent background.

• This one has a white background.
• So that's why if you really look closely, you can see that it's got a square, basically a white square around it. trim-silence-between-words

• If you wanted to have no logo not ours, not any new logo.

Adding Soundtracks to Videos

• Now something that we found in testing to be wildly effective for the minimum page amount of effort on your videos to increase how long people watch them and how much take action is taken is in a large scale test, we found that you could increase by 10% how many people finish watching your video and also increase by 10% how many sales you get from a marketing or sales video by adding a soundtrack to it. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• If the soundtrack matches the mood of the video and is fairly discreet in the background.
• So not something that drowns the voice because people cannot hear you.

• A few more than 115.
• I don't know, it's somewhere between 150 and 120 languages.
• So it will detect automatically the language of that video. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• It's in very rare cases it might be wrong.
• It can happen in typically it happens in two cases.
• We've seen it in two cases.
• Case number one, it's a very short video and in a language that has other languages that are very close to it.
• So you have maybe a very short Spanish video and it thinks it's Portuguese. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• You have a very short language in a Slavic language and it thinks it's Russian.
• And so it makes the mistake of trying to transcribe it in the wrong language.
• The second case is we've had at least one person for this who this has happened to her.
• She's a Swiss Italian. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And when she speaks French or Spanish, she speaks with such a strong Italian accent that the AI always thinks she's speaking Italian.
• And so it's trying to transcribe something in Italian.
• But since the words are French, the transcription is completely wrong. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So in that case, what we allow you to do here is to say no, the one you detected is wrong.
• So this is not translation.
• Let me be very clear.
• This is different.

Language Detection and Correction

• You only change this if one take didn't automatically recognize the correct language spoken in the video.
• So it's very good at it. trim-silence-between-words
• I know that I speak with a slight French accent.

- It knows that I'm speaking English.

• Even if I spoke with a very much stronger French accent like this.

• However, like some people have like stratospherically higher levels.
• And then it was like, this is French.

• So it's really struggling.
• So by being clear with it, no, this was English.
• I know Sebastian has terrible English, but so is English, then it's going to be correct.
• And then if you know that all the videos on your channel are always, always, always in one language, let's say it's always in English. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Then you could say my videos are always in English.
• And then you would check the box for it and say, apply the setting to all my future videos.
• But just beware, if you check the box that says apply to all future videos.
• And then you upload a French person, French guest expert at your conference or whatever, and the person says, bon appetit. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• It will try to transcribe Bone Apple Tits, right?
• Because that you said this is English, so it's going to try that. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So that's spoken language.
• This is different from translation.
• Saying it once again so I'm very clear.
• This is just so it knows the original language.

Virtual Cameraman Feature

• And then Virtual Cameraman is a an experimental feature to.
• For wanting to Track what's the important thing to show on the screen and center it properly.
• So you have the ability to check this.
• But we are working on improving it.
• So I will also do a specific live session once we roll out a new version of Virtual Cameraman that's more powerful.

Advanced Video Editing

• And now what happens if you want to make a change to something that is inside of the video?

• You want the text to be shown or you want to change a word in the transcript. trim-silence-between-words
• And how would you do that?

• So here I can switch this toggle that is showing me the preview so that I can see the original video and the script.

• But one take always tries to figure out who is the person in that video.
• So if you upload a video with a guest speaker and they say hi, I am Jeff Walker, creator of the product launch formula, then for that video one take we'll recognize.

• Unless you say you tell one take to not do that, which I'm going to show in a second.

Custom Instructions for Editing

• Custom instructions is something that one take tries to take into consideration at each step. trim-silence-between-words
• So when you're using the chat, when you are editing videos, when it's doing the shorts, things like that.
• So one use for it is for pronunciation. trim-silence-between-words
• Some people have hard to spell names that all the AIs always transcribe wrong.
• This is how you solve that problem.
• So in my case, all the tools, like if I'm interviews on YouTube, YouTube subtitles will always write Sebastian Knight with a K and Sebastian with an A. trim-silence-between-words
• So by telling Montague that's how it's pronounced, but actually always spell it like this, I make sure that it understands how to write it when it's editing my videos.
• Same for one take, which many of the videos that I record say one take because French people don't pronounce it quite properly.
• So I tell it because it would be a bit ridiculous that my own videos spell the name of my company wrong.
• So this is a, a good thing to do.
• But other instructions that you might write are things like you could literally. trim-silence-between-words
• I took this example earlier, right?
• I know that lots of you are in the US So everything is political in the US at the moment.
• So maybe you want to be careful about it.
• And you might, you might say, well, I don't want any political content in my videos if we can avoid it.

• So this feature is pretty powerful, so we allow you to edit how powerful you want it to be.
• The default is smart editing of mistakes, stutters, repetitions, and filler words.
• I'll give you an example.
• Let's say I shoot a video and I say, hi, everybody, welcome to Module one.
• Oh, my God, what am I saying?
• Welcome to module 2. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• One take will understand that the sentence welcome to module 1 is mistaken because you fixed it. trim-silence-between-words
• Later, it will also recognize that the sentence, oh, my God, what am I doing?
• Is you talking to yourself.
• And it's not really part of the message of the video.
• So one is a mistake and one is like, is self talk is.

• So it's going to try to remove those so that your video says, hi, everyone, welcome to module 2, and then removes the two sentences that were a problem for some people. trim-silence-between-words
• If you find that it's being too aggressive with the removal of things, you can make it.

Virtual Cameraman Settings

• And then the virtual cameraman, I spoke about that earlier.

• But right now you can safely disable it.

• Like, what's the maximum video length for your account?
• And how many minutes of translations, translation.

Video Editing Settings

• You've seen, I've shown different examples somewhere.
• You were seeing that there was just a title for this segment next to me.
• For some of them, I had everything I was saying next to me.
• For some others, I had just the original video with no added text.
• This is where you decide for your videos which one you prefer.
• So by default it is turn my video into a professional presentation. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And then one take decides what titles to show.
• It decides what text to show and adds the transcription, the transitions, and so on. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• You can choose to tune this down. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• One example is I often have conferences.
• And when I'm doing a conference, I think I have one like this, not this one.
• Which one is a conference?
• This one.
• This is a conference.

Editing for Presentations

• So when there are points that I want to make that has visuals, I want people to see the slides.
• I don't want one thing to add text on top of that because it would hide the actual side. trim-silence-between-words
• So but I.
• I would like one take to just add maybe a title of which segment are we on right now?
• Just that, like discretely in the bottom.
• So in that case, in my settings, I Can say show only titles. trim-silence-between-words
• So it will add just.
• This is the segment where you're talking about revenue.
• And then now this is the one where you're talking about hiring.
• And now is the one where you're talking about like action steps.
• If I do no text at all, then it will still edit the video by removing the silences, the mistakes, improving the sound, doing all of that.
• But it will not add any visuals to the screen.
• So this is usually used if you have videos that are like screen recording tutorials or recordings of a PowerPoint presentation.
• And you don't want wanted to superimpose any text on top of your PowerPoint size.
• So you would say show no text at all. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Full Text Presentation Option

• And the last option is in the opposite direction where you can say turn my video into a full text presentation.
• So you might have a video like a bad hair day or a video where you don't want the original video to be visible. trim-silence-between-words
• You want one thing to create something that looks kind of like a PowerPoint presentation and it does that for you and so the original is not visible.
• I have used that in cases where I have a video that's from pre Covid because I'm one of those people that only grew a beard during the lockdowns. trim-silence-between-words
• And then I said, I'm gonna keep it. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• But so if I republish a video from 2014 or 2017, people look at it and they're like, you look like you, you.
• You're not even old enough to drink alcohol on this video.
• So how old is this video?
• But if the content is good, what I do is I take this old video uploaded to one take, tell one take to turn the video into a text only presentation so nobody sees my youthful face.
• And, and I can still repurpose it this way. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So that's how much text to include.
• And you can save it as a default for all future videos to use default language is what I explained earlier. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Language Detection Settings

• I'm saying that 99% of you should leave it on detect automatically, but you can switch it to any of the other hundred plus languages that we have.
• If your videos are in Zulu and sometimes it thinks that the videos are in Xhosa, then you would say, no, this is not Xhosa, this is Zulu.
• So always save that. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Again, not the case for 99% of people.

Custom Vocabulary

• Custom vocabulary, that's important if you have a hard to spell name or brand names, product names.
• So everybody I recommend should go there and in custom vocabulary put the names of your brand products. trim-silence-between-words
• Anybody that's like interviewed you or that you interviewed or that you mentioned on your videos.
• That has a tough name.
• I was interviewed by Olga Colton for her podcast on monetization.
• Her name is tough to spell for AIs, so I put it in there.
• If you're talking about the book Flow by Mihail Shizen.
• Mihail, nobody knows how to spell this guy's name, even though he's a New York Times bestselling author. trim-silence-between-words
• So you might want to write his name in there.
• So the AI understands it as a custom vocabulary.
• And if all. trim-silence-between-words
• If you notice that all tools, including one, take time to misspell something because it's pronounced differently from how it's spelled, then I would put it in custom vocabulary and also in the custom instructions. trim-silence-between-words
• Do what you saw me do here, saying, you will hear it pronounced one tech, but you should always spell it one take AI.
• And even here you see that I did a little bit of.
• I cheated a little bit because sometimes in the videos, people will say one take, but I would prefer it to always write one take AI. trim-silence-between-words
• So in that case, I would say, don't just write one take. trim-silence-between-words
• Always write one take AI.
• I could say always write one take dot AI.
• For instance, if I had, like this kind of brand, things that are important for me. trim-silence-between-words
• So that's custom vocabulary.

Video Details Customization

• Now, video details.
• some of you might have what I call a video series.
• Here's a good example.
• I used to have this vlog, and they.
• I had a videographer following me when I was speaking at conferences.
• And here I'm.
• I'm at Jeff Walker's Platinum Mastermind in the US and all of the titles for this series follow a certain style, right? trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• All caps, and then this pipe sign, and then hashtag projerev.
• And then the episode number.
• And the description for the YouTube video is always the same with the link to my book first and then things like that.
• So having to do that manually for every video is annoying. trim-silence-between-words
• So wouldn't it be great if I could tell one ticket for the video details instead of automatically try to figure them out?
• Custom instructions and say video titles.
• Here's an example. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• and here are my instructions.
• Always write the title in all caps and refer to where the video takes place. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Then use the pipe sign and the hashtag.
• So hashtag, which is a French word. trim-silence-between-words
• And then the episode number. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And then for the description, I would do the same.
• I would just paste the example from my previous video, which I took a lot of time to write. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And then I would say, always write the description, the complete description, starting with my book URL and then have all those links only and then the. trim-silence-between-words
• The customized part, I don't even remember in which part of the description it is because so much of it is promotional. trim-silence-between-words
• Actually there's none.
• But yeah, I would say only put the episode relevant details at the end.
• Something like that. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And an author name, maybe it's Sebastian Knight.
• So last name in all caps. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Always use the first person's name, never anybody else's. trim-silence-between-words
• Because what one take will sometimes do is if there are multiple speakers in this video, it will try to figure out who's the main speaker or multiple people.
• And then project name is just for myself. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So so that I can find the project when I have 30, 100, 200 of them a year from now.
• So maybe for me the project name an example would be 2025 Los Angeles. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And then it's a mastermind and it's Jeff Walker. trim-silence-between-words
• Right.
• So here I'm saying in order for me to find my things easily, I need to put the year first, then the place this takes place. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• This is not a great way to say things, but whatever. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Then the type of event I was attending, then the name of the organizer and it's going to figure it out as well as it can. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• If the video starts with hey guys, welcome.
• Today you're going to follow me.
• We are in California.
• I love la.
• I was invited by Jeff Walker and today this is actually not a conference, I'm presenting, I'm attending a Mastermind.
• If I just say that it's going to be able to figure out the whole thing.
• If I don't, it's going to do its best guess, which might not be right, but at least it's going to do its best to match what I asked.

• The other way to do it was if I had manually changed all of that and then said always try to match this style but then it doesn't have the instructions of how I do it. trim-silence-between-words
• You just want to try to understand it from the example. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So that's video editing, audio editing. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Audio Editing Importance

• When you upload something to one take, the audio is super important because people will stay and watch a video that has poor image and great sound because it's very clear and they don't understand the message, they will leave immediately. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• If your video has perfect crystal clear camera image but has like so much wind noise that they can't hear you.
• So the defaults here are again most of everyone that's listening here should just leave the defaults. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• But I'm Going to explain the cases where you might change them.

Background Noise Removal

• Background noise will remove everything except your voice and music.
• So this is very useful.
• If you're in a noisy restaurant when you're recording, you have your neighbor's dog is barking.
• Construction in the next building.
• This will be very well cleaned by one take and you will have like studio quality with not having recording in the studio. trim-silence-between-words
• However, in some cases it's happened where we had someone, for instance, that had they had someone playing drums at very specific moments of the video while they were talking on purpose. trim-silence-between-words
• Like they wanted to create a certain atmosphere.
• But the AI thought who the hell is playing drums while my speaker is speaking?
• And removed the drums so you could disable background noise removal here.
• All the changes, all the settings here apply to future videos.
• It doesn't like retroactively.
• Retroactively change things in videos you've already uploaded.
• So if you wanted to do it for just one video, you would change the setting, do that video and then change it back.
• For instance, breathing noises.

Breathing Noise Removal

• By default this is experimental.
• By default this is not done because it is fine. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• In most videos it's a normal thing that sometime after a sentence you're just having this very quick intake of breath so the sound is more natural with it and people don't notice it.
• In some rare cases, you might have a guest speaker or interviewee that has the mic like very close to their face and then the result of they are out of breath and then the result in the podcast or video is hard to listen to.
• If the people have headphones and they are like in the subway and you have someone that says today we're going to speak about that, like feels like the person is breathing on their neck. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• Like this is super oppressive.
• So in that case, that's when you want to set that to remove breathing noise. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• But most cases you don't need it.
• Let's write balance.

Sound Balancing

• One take will by default on all videos bring the sounds to the center channel.
• This is very useful because sometimes you might have your mic not straight in front of you.
• You record it with your phone was somewhat to the side.
• You're recording on your computer and you had like a stereo mic, but it's suicide.
• Or you recorded an interview with someone but you had the mic on yourself and the interviewee didn't.
• So the sound will be an imbalance in the original audio and one take will bring it to the center so it's easier to listen to. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• There are very few cases where you might want to the original balance to be kept.
• These cases Tend to be either a, you're recording music and you have the violence on the left and the piano on the right and you want to keep that, or you're recording an interview and you have, like two mics and you want people to hear the person left more on the left channel, and the person on the right more on the right channel.
• You really need to know what you're doing.
• If you change this setting, but you can do that if you knew what you were doing when you recorded it, then you can tell one take not to change it. trim-silence-between-words

Silence Removal Settings

• And for silence, this is something that more people might need to change automatically. trim-silence-between-words
• One take will remove silences because it will try to make the video more organic. trim-silence-between-words
• So if you had a video, which is exactly the case in my Spanish blackout video, when I recorded it, I had my main points. trim-silence-between-words
• I used, like, I'm using one Take chat because I want the AI to help me brainstorm and clarify my ideas.
• So I did that.
• And then I had the key points on the screen of my computer.
• And if you look at the video, you will notice that my computer is actually there while I'm recording. trim-silence-between-words
• It's right on the desk. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Why the blackout instead?
• Right.
• The computer is right here.
• Oh, I forgot to change the style back.
• The computer is right here, near my right hand on the left of the screen.
• Right.
• So what I was doing when I recorded it is I kept doing this.

• Xyz.
• So I use that time to read.
• So one take will remove that silence.
• So it looks like I'm saying, today we're going to talk about xyz.
• It is a very important, like you remove the brick.
• Sometimes you don't want to remove the brake for a couple of reasons. trim-silence-between-words
• Some people have silences on purpose for emphasis.
• Like we've had public speakers that said, if I tell people, this will change your life. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And it's why you need to act now.
• I want the brief to be there on purpose.
• I don't want it to become.
• This will change your life.
• And it's why you want to act now.
• So you can disable it or customize it.
• The other case we've had is people who on purpose leave long breaks because they are showing something or putting people through an exercise. trim-silence-between-words
• So if you are doing that and you're doing a meditation, you don't want your meditation to, like the edited video to be something like this.
• You don't want this. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• All right, now that I've explained this meditation, let's do it together for three minutes.
• Thank you.
• Now the three minutes are over.
• Did you.
• Do you feel the transformation?
• You don't want that because you wanted the three minutes of silence to still be there. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And one thing, we moved it.
• So here you can switch to only trim the start and end, which means it will remove when you were stepping back from the camera to speak at the beginning and when you were stepping back to the camera to stop it. trim-silence-between-words
• But it will not change anything in the middle. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• You can say, don't trim anything, or you can say, apply custom settings.
• And then you can either say, I want you to not cut my short silences because they are on purpose for emphasis, or you could do the opposite and say, if there's a short silence, that's fine, but if something is lasting more than one minute, it's probably an exercise like I was showing something or having people write. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• And I don't want you to remove it.
• It's on purpose.
• So you can do this and saved. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So this is entirely customizable this way.
• So this is it for audio editing. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

Branding Options

• Now let's talk about branding. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• There is something you can have, depending on your tier or subscription, of one Take.
• If you have white label, what does it mean? trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• First of all, for any level of page use of one Take, you have the ability to change the colors and the fonts and the video styles and you can add your own logo. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• You can do all of that already.
• And if you export a video from One Take to put it on your YouTube channel or social media, it already doesn't have any kind of watermark or one Take logo anywhere there. trim-silence-between-words

White Label Hosting

• However, if you use one Take to host the video because you want to use the share link, maybe you want one Take to do this, to create, because it does this for every video you do. trim-silence-between-words
• It creates a mini website for you that has the video player on it and has the key points and the description and has the transcript. trim-silence-between-words
• It creates all of that for you.
• And it's super useful.
• But maybe you wanted to do that.
• But you don't want your customers and clients to see the link as a watch one thing AI a link.
• You would like the link to be something like myvideos.mybusinessname.com because you your website is mybusinessname.com in my example. trim-silence-between-words
• So you would use that setting.
• You would type a custom subdomain like videos my website.com and then one take will give you a code that you need to input into your web Host settings. trim-silence-between-words
• So that's the technical part where you will have to figure out with whatever registrar or host you're using for your main website already.
• So if you are using Bluehost or GoDaddy or One on One or OVH Infomaniac or there are so many of them, they each have a different tutorial on their own help sites that tell you tells you what the CNAME thing is. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• Just search the name of that Company and CNAME and if you search GoDaddy CNAME you will find a very simple tutorial that tells you how to create a CNAME link between your domain and one Take.
• You follow that and once you've done that, you click Verify my domain.
• And from now on, every link that you share, instead of being a one take link hosting your video, it's going to be something like video.yourwebsite.com and there will be no mention of one take, no one take logo, no one take in the link.
• So this is useful for instance for those of you that work as an agency, for instance, and you're creating the content for your customers, then you can do this. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And then finally, translation.
• This last tab will only show of course, if you have translation abilities in your account and it has two settings.

Translation Settings

• First, remember how I told you that when people watch your video hosted by 1take automatically 1take shows them the one in the correct language and 1take translates the content and then uses your voice and then uses your face expressions to match the original. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences

• So that's the default.
• We do the whole thing for you.
• You can disable part of it.
• Personally, I don't think it's a good idea, but you can do this.
• It's been asked.
• So we listened to the people.
• Some people said I would prefer to only dub the audio and not have lip sync.
• So what will happen is One Take will translate, will create the audio translation and will overlay it without changing the lips. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So this your video will look more like a telenovela translated to English.
• And so it's fine. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• I guess we find that people enjoy the immersive experience of watching a video that is that looks like it's been spoken in their language, having just the dubbing, especially from English to like from long languages to English. trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words trim-silence-between-words
• English is a very efficient language.
• French and Spanish and Portuguese are not.
• So what's going to happen is your video is going to look like something like that.
• The original was saying bonjour et bienvenue sur Web conference.
• And the translation audio is going to say, hi, welcome to the webinar.
• And so what people will see is this, hi, welcome to webinar. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And that's not ideal.
• That's why people, yeah, having the lip sync is better.
• That's my opinion.
• We do it for you.
• Why would you disable it?
• But you can.
• And then you have the option to translate only the text.
• And then in this case, nothing in the video is changed.
• The audio is still the same, but one take which translates the titles and the transcript. trim-silence-between-words trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• So this is useful if you just wanted to have the translated text of the video, if you wanted to keep the original content visible. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And if you select this option, we do not charge translation minutes. trim-silence-between-words
• So let's say My account has 120 translation minutes.
• I can do two hours of translated video.
• But if I upload more content and I just wanted the text translated in the video and I said this, I will not be billed minutes, additional minutes for doing that. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Yeah, we just decided to do this currently as a gift.
• I'm not promising we will always do that in the future, but we just thought that this was us being cool.
• So let's just be cool.

Translation Script Review

• And then reviewing the translation script.
• So the default is when you start a translation, one take will just translate in the new language.
• It will figure out the best translation and do that. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• Some people really want to make sure you want to look over the AI's shoulder and check that the translation matches exactly what you said.
• Or maybe sometimes it happens that you have a specific translation for a specific word.
• So for instance, I was talking about Jeff Walker earlier, one of my good friends and one of my mentors when I was starting my business.
• He's the creator of the product launch formula.
• In French, we do not say la formule de lancement de produit, which would be the word for word translation.
• We say launchement orchestra, the orchestrated launch.
• So if I was translating a video where I'm talking about the product launch formula, I would check that option and say I want to review the translation before you dub and do the lip sync. trim-leading-and-trailing-silences
• And by doing so, when it's prepared, it's ready, it's going to show it to me and say, is this correct?
• And then it shows me the original text, the translated text, and then it takes the translation and retranslates into my language, because maybe you don't speak Spanish, Japanese.
• So if you translate to Japanese, it will show you the original in English, the Japanese translation, which you understand nothing of that, and then it retranslates from Japanese into English.
• So you can check that your meaning went through because you can see that if it didn't, you can change the English words so that the Japanese matches your meaning, your actual meaning. trim-silence-between-words

• So One Take Chat, the very first time you'll use it, it will show a screen similar to this one.
• I've used it before, so it's always the field.
• But the first time you use it, it's going to ask you for information about your business.
• What's your name, what do you do, what services do you offer?

• So you would write my name is Peter.
• Here's what the name of my business is, what I do.
• It asks who is your avatar?
• So your perfect audience of customer or customer who needs your videos and your products and services.

Updating Chat Settings

• And one of the sources was the exact content module I had recorded like a year before and I had completely forgotten existed.
